Thanks for your reponses. I will try the ideas out as soon as I find my alice. I want to work on photoshop to see if I can do it in photoshop. The other idea I have is to find two models who look like each other but about 25 years diffence in age. and have the older woman looking into the mirror and seeing herself young in the mirror.

I have been lent a Mamyia 330 and on occasion I get a white steak
accross the print. Also from time-to-time The film advance crank gets
very tight. That may be another problem.
See photo below in my portforlio for an example.
Thanks,
Matthew

I would like to create a picture of someone walking through a mirror.
Or being sucked into a mirror. Think alice and wonderland. If you
have any ideas in how to create the illusion in photoshop, sharing
them with me would be appricated.
Thank you

I think your right, as time progresses I think it is beneficial to have digital and MF and 35mm. BTW what does "motopoto' mean? I take i is not positive:]

Thanks for you responses. My 35mm is Canon. I have a Elan 7, and a elan IIe. I have been helping a friend with her accounting and yesterday she lent me her mamiya C330. She used to shoot weddings with it. I am floored. It saeems like a great camera. She has three lenses, 65,80, and 135mm. I am going to shoot with it for a while, and when I get some jobs and $$ i will get a digital SLR.
Thanks for your quick responses and insights.

I have been shooting 35mm for 5 years and wish to expand my camera
system. If I want to shoot portraits. should I invest in a good
digital SLR or into a good medium format camera. Assuming I don't
have the $$ to do both.

Figured it out myself yeah!

This is my first digital and overall I Really like, but ....
The shutter button does not have the same feel as my 35mm. It seems
to delay (i do not have the timer on) and I get a blurry image. any

Thank you for all your help. My brother's paintings range in size from a square foot to 3 feet by 2 feet. They are mostly watercolor. I know he wants to get a digital camera to photograph his paintings. He does have a old 35mm that is a good camera. I took some pictures of his paintings with my CanonA80 ubder tungston. I tried to copy and paste on of the pictures in to this post to show you, but it did not work. If I figure it out I will show you a a painting.

My Brother is a a painter who wants to photograph his artwork using a
digital camera. He does not want to spend a huge amount of money. I
know he should get a macro lens, any ideas. He is going the use the
prints to send to gallaries.

Tim,
You need a Sync License. The Harry Fox Agency brokers these transactions. go to www.nmpa.org/hfa. Their phone # is 212-370-5330
The cost is per CD. I think There is a 500 License min. If you want less go to Contact the artist directly. if you search on BMI.com or Ascap.com ( every artist is listed on one or the other) you can find out who is the the publisher and contact them. Best Wishes.
