  1. I typically like razor sharp architectural shots, but somehow the softer focus is more fitting here. I'm also fond of the high contrast black and white, but I can't help but feel that something is slightly unbalanced with the overall composition. I think it may be that there is a little too large of a black void in the upper left hand corner of the image. I suppose that there is not too much to do about that except to correct the crop slightly...

I like the clarity and the detail of the model's unusual freckled face, but otherwise the photo does not do quite enough to interest me in the subject. The technical aspects are otherwise, flawless.

Very nice color, and interesting subject. I feel as though the composition could have been more engaging if everything were shifted to the left so that both the modern building, as well as the older style building were entirely in the frame. If that were done and the photo was taken at a slightly brighter time to reveal more building detail, then I think the photo could be superb. A nice photo as is though.

    Simply flowers...

While not technically part of the subject, I do love the presentation, specifically in regards to the yellow border and the overlapping flower pedal. I do think the photo would be slightly improved with a little less color saturation and contrast to reveal more of the flower's texture detail.

    Andante giocoso.

Fantastic shot Andante. While probably inadvertant, I think that the diagonal brick pattern leading in a straight line from the statue's face to the small girl, adds quite a bit to the overall composition. The only thing that is distracting in the photo is is blip in the bottom right corner. I would probably use the rubber stamp in photoshop to get rid of that. Otherwise, the photo is perfect and I'm envious of the composition.

Very sharp portrait. The three crescent shapes formed by the hat and the subject's chin and shoulders help to create a very pleasing overall balance. I'm wondering if the composition would be improved at all by cropping off the left side. I'm not sure, just a thought, but a perfect and engaging portrait anyway.
