Very Turner-esque

I love the colour and composition in this picture. Not so sure about the 'framing markers' though

Brings back memories of my own visits to the southwest (but I never saw a sky as fiery as this!) You were lucky to be there to capture it! Isn't Nature wonderful?
-
There you go; it just shows what I know (rolleyes).
BTW Thomas, you have some great images in your portfolio.

Interesting, Thomas. Just as a matter of interest, what does it look like with no colour manipulation of the hand? I ask this because the PC screen background is sufficiently different from the jet-black background of the main pic so as to tell us it is a computer screen image we are looking at and not just a 'hand behind a frame'
Just my 2c. I haven't rated your pic because I don't give ratings on other people's photos (a) I don't feel qualified to do so and (b) I think, in any case, IMHO the ratings should really cover three areas - aesthetics, originality, AND execution (or "technical merit"). But, just for the record, for me, with some changes to that hand, this would would score well in all three

Yep, I agree wholheartedly about the cropping; as I said, I think the composition is just about perfect. The leopard occupies the top two-thirds of the frame and, without the meat, the viewer would be left wondering just what it was had engaged the leopard's interest

I think the composition is perfect. A stunning shot. Was this in the wild?

I like this picture; it's a cut above the run-of-the-mill motorsport shots. That's not to down-play other motorsport pics in this section, many of which are technically excellent, BUT they're the sort of thing you see in motorsport magazines every day. I just thought this picture was refreshingly different; it would make a good poster. I'm no expert; this is just a personal opinion

IMHO a potentially good photo has been spoiled by it being out of focus (or as I'm a newbie here, maybe there's something wrong with the way I'm viewing it?)
The Beach Comber

An excellent shot technically and also in terms of interest - very amusing (he looks really cheesed off!)
Great composition too with the sea/beach junction at 2/3rds and all that walking space to the right.
