Hi folks! Happy New Year to you all! Ok... a Sunday afternoon with
crap weather outside, red wine, makeup, shower, and a VERY patient
girl friend!!! First time I give this a go... what do you think? Ivar
:-) Best viewed large bye the way.

One of the more funny and cool shots I've seen here today! Will have to be a 7/7! Cheers! Ivar :-))

In my humble opinion the exposure is a tad too heavy. The blemish on the rose doesn't do it any justice, and a final thing to consier IMHO is the cropping/where you lay the focus. That said... good effort, and since roses indeed are brilliant to photograph I expect I will see more when I come back later. Cheers! Ivar :-)) PS! I have a VERY similar picture to yours... :-)) http://www.photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=4627951&size=lg

Taken this windy afternoon in Malahide just outside Dublin. Only
wanted to take some shots of the water and stones... but the rainbow
deceided to pop up as well. A much appriciated bonus! :-))

Hi Alfonso!
Ok... not quite sure where to start. I find it quite so sad that someone with your potential fall in the claws of rating copyright ets... Sad...SAD!!!! -Been there done that! :-))Take a lesson from someone like me! I can't imagine how you came up with the idea of making the following comment: "Here's a picture of me taking that picture. http://www.photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=1986047 PS because it can be abused, I will not say how to change the color." Dear OHHHHH !!!!!!! dear....! Where to start...? :-) How about starting with being a "BIT" humble?!?!? There are apx. 80K photographers at this particular site with at LEAST the same if not BETTER capailities to convert a colour to a B&W as you have done. Nevertheless, I still quite enjoy looking throug your stuff, and your http://www.photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=997342&size=lg is just SOOOO bl**** cute!!! Nice one!!!! But a small advice from a friend in Dublin.... tone down a bit... we all have QUITE a bit to learn from friends around here!!! :-)))
Cheers! Ivar in Dublin :-))
PS! If I was ro rate THIS particular photo: 2 / 3

Hi folks! What do you think? This was Christmas Eve... after 3 1/2
pouches of Whiskas. Best viewed large. Thanks! :-) Ivar

Best viewed large folks! This little dog was sitting so faithfully
outside the resturant in Cork one Saturday afternoon. I thought he
looked cute and was wondering if he was waiting for his companion or
owner... What do you think? :-))

No tripod... just a few tries to see what shutter speed would be ok... and then let it pop. See you around! Ivar :-)

Misty morning in Dublin. Would be cool to hear what you have to say
about it. Ivar :-)

I agree... it does LOOK like it's been PS'ed... but it really hasn't. Only done is brightness and contrast + some more saturation (I feel I always have to do that when I shoot in RAW format) Then cropped... cropped A LOT... Cheers! Ivar :-)

Another from the annual Phoenix Park Motor Races here in Dublin today.
I have one shot where there was an engine blow out, and when I saw
this one I kind of was wondering if that was the case here as well.
Guess it's just some dodgy smoke as he dropped down a gear. What say
you? Cheers! Ivar :-)
