Great image. I see it as a documental piece masterly composed (fantastic balance of the elements) - reality in its raw state. Curious how my first reaction was a wish to see it in B&W but as longer as I look at it I see that the colours reinforce the rawness and the sadness of such reality. Congrats for such an image. ricardo
  4. A mix of surrealness with comedy in a great b&w. Cool and fun. Congrats and regards. ricardo

  6. Dear Alberta, Thank you so much for your valuable comment, I really appreciate it. Obviously I can't disagree with you, the expression of the player is a central piece of a regular image of a guy playing a horn. I just guess that my idea was, having in mind that there are hundreds of real photographers more qualified than me to take a photo of a horn player, to do something less and for the good or bad leave room for multiple interpretations. Thanks again. Regards, ricardo

    showing a leg..

lovely. Great moment, really well captured and composed. congrats.
  9. I like it so much. Fantastic composition and cropping based on a efective use of the straight lines and a masterful handling of the b&w. And the lonely human presence with a gadget gives it an adequate contemporary feel. Congrats for such a nice one.
  10. Thanks in advance. Regards.
  11. Definetly impressive. Fantastic work on the cropping, depth and lighting. Congrats for such acheivment. Regards.
  12. Fantastic one. The movement effect together with the rich colors has a strong aesthetic appeal for me. Adding to this the effective composition and the texture of the ground that we can almost touch it makes this an image to be proud. Congrats and regards.

I appreciate a lot the composition based on the use of the straight lines. The natural tones and lights somehow balance the artificiality of the place itself. On a more poetic interpretation, it's nice to see the bit of nature at the back as a sign of hope. Regards.

Love the dark mood and the blury view. Adresses somehow to a film noir of the 50s/60s. Fantastic B&W. Congrats for such a distinctive image.

    The Family.........

I don't understand the low rating. I'm with the ones praising this image. This is really a case of less is more... for me the minimal composition is so strong, from an aesthetic perspective it has an huge impact... and the message is there. I'm far from being a technical nerd but the only thing I see here that I wish it was different is that this may be a bit overexposed. However this doesn't subtract anything to the greatness of this image. Congrats & regards, ricardo
