Hello Ricardo:

Very nice B&W shot - the tones are perfect on the horn, the depth of field just right to draw our attention to the instrument against a background that provides texture without distracting. But in my own experience (30 years photographing musicians and stage performers) you've omitted THE most important thing in this capture: the expression on the face of the horn player. You can go to any musical instrument shop in the world and take a photo of a horn. But the face of a horn player practicing his/her craft I think is much more memorable.

Thank you so much for your valuable comment, I really appreciate it.

Obviously I can't disagree with you, the expression of the player is a central piece of a regular image of a guy playing a horn. I just guess that my idea was, having in mind that there are hundreds of real photographers more qualified than me to take a photo of a horn player, to do something less and for the good or bad leave room for multiple interpretations.
