In general it a nice shot - showed originality since its from the end of a fetch where all of the junk and trash are washed up an area that usually people avoid much less photograph. I'm torn between whether you should have opened up the frame t show the end of the chain and the a little of the beuatiful blue sky for contrast or to have moved to the right and completely eliminated the blue sky.
-
I liked this photo Would have rated it higher if the framing was different - it's to tight and clips the adjacent details.
-
This is a first class shot.
-
Nice picture - interesting geometry. The person is a distraction.
-
I like the color and framing. The reflection is brilliant. I wonder if you could have gotten the bluer sky with 1/2 stop or Polrarizing filter without loosing the quality & intensity of the reflection.

Close up of skyscapers details in Hong Kong. I liked the contrasting
colors and lines. I should probaly recrop it to straighten out the
vertical - mistake made when I scanned it but haven't gotten back to
fix it. All coments appreciated!

I like it. Accenting the highlands makes it very striking.
-
I actually liked the muted colors- my guess is it 's probably an accident but it does make me think of softer autumn afternoons.
-
Nice shot - great depth of field - Contrasting colors really add to the photo, I liked the framing as well. The dark shading over the left corner is distraction.

Very slick composition and it can easily fool you. Even though I prefer the more "as it was" approach I like this photo a lot. The light rays coming from the left even further add to the illusion. I guess that the issue of real vs fabricated causes a problem as it becomes harder to tell the fabrication from the reality - if it is identified as fabricated you can appreciate it for the artistic intent and not see it as an attempt to put something over on you. But the same arguement can be made in paintings - did the Mona Lisa really smile like that? Does it matter?
-
Certainly makes you think. Obviously an uncomfortable pose in an uncomfortable site.
Not really clear what the intent of the photo is - Are you objectifying women, making a statement that society discards them like so much trash, a double homicide or just kinky? What were you wanting the observer to think.
I think if you had used a flash it would have removed the distraction of the almost dark corner or conversely if you had stopped down it would have darkened it to black making one wonder what is hiding in the corner.
-
Nice job of cropping the distraction out. Framing is everything and you really have got it nailed here. Just enough sky without being to much. Looks like you waited for the right lighting. This is a really nice photo now - I'd bet you're glad you took one more look at it.

Intersting. Contrast between the color and B&W. Very unique.
-
Great lighting and framing. Exposure is excellent. Overall this is an great picture.

I took this photo through a gap between partitions for a display that
was being prepared. I liked the colors and the symmetry of the wodden
horses as if almost ready to charge. Look forward to your comments.

I like the symmetry and subtle coloration. I think if you pulled back just a bit and had caught the upper arch a little more it would be better composed.
-
Really nice study - almost looks like a painting. The only criticism (very minor) is that if you could have moved the far planter or knelled slightly down and to your right you might have eleiminated the white distraction at the far left bottom corner.

Very nicely done. I like the fact that you held the framing tight to the subject. It provided an unusual close up with colors and texture that would have been missed otherwise.
