geoff_cook 0 Posted January 12, 2004 Taken at dawn in the Canadian Rocky Mountains. Minus 30 degrees celsius. It was worth it. Link to comment

kelcihedrick 0 Posted January 12, 2004 This is nicely done, however, I would personally like to see the snow a more pure tone of white to contrast with the pink tones. Overall, a beautful image. Link to comment
maxhaynes 0 Posted January 13, 2004 At 30 below I'm surprised to see that water, was it moving swiftly? It's hard to tell from the image. Nice image! Link to comment
hakon1 0 Posted January 14, 2004 Best phot of Vermilion Lakes that I have seen to date. Well worth a slight case of hypothermia! Link to comment
deozmac 0 Posted January 15, 2004 Wonderful - almost has character of a watercolour. Also intrigued by the water, it must be ice masquerading as water surely? Are you now part of the permafrost? Link to comment
geoff_cook 0 Posted February 4, 2004 The water is atually not frozen - it's heated by underground hot springs. Everything else that day, including myself, was frozen. Link to comment
