depends upon whether we're talking color or B & W film. In color,
the differences are minute; in B & W the differences are major.
The RZ lenses lack contrast which makes a major difference in
prints. Zeiss lenses are smoother, more contrast, in B & W. You
can compensate with RZ by pushing film to increase contrast,
choice is yours. people squak about cropping the 6x6 to 8 x10,
but its the lenses man, its the lenses. Film flatness, forget it, not
even a discussion topic.

I'd go for the Cw, you never know when your photo intersts might
change, so get the most versatile body @ the beginning, you
never know when fill flash may be needed, and its a cinch with
ttl. My combo is 60-100-150, so it all varies.

E bay is not a win win all the time, I have had disasterous experiences buying equipment there, however good purchases can be found, it just takes time to learn which repeat sellers are honest in their equipment descriptions. I believe people don't intentionally sey out to screw people, they just over rate their equipment.

At this price, there are only two lenses to consider, a planar or
xenotar. If the price were 250, then this would be a reasonable
choice, just not a preferred choice.
-
If you go with the RB, make sure its all PRO S stuff, (body &
backs ). The hasslblad route is just too darn expensive, the body
can be cheap, but good used lenses are too pricy to be able to
have an adquate lens lineup. Go with the mamiya RB, a no
brainer choice.

The types are 664, 669, 679, 689. You're using the wrong film.

"Maybe $ 1500 to spend", that thins the ranks out very quickly. Hasselbald is $ 3500 minimum for a 2 lens outfit, same with RZ; I'd suggest the 645 system either mamiya or pentax, quantum leap in results due to fim size increase, will fit your budget. Buy used from KEH, you get a two week return privilege.

No visual difference.

Depends on your budget; basic flash would be vivitar 285, mounted on some bracket, I use strobo Pro T; upgrade flash to either The Metz handle mount series, or the current favorite, quantum T 2 series with
turbo battery. The 285 is like $ 90, the quantum $ 800, the metz somewhere in between. All in all, the 285 is quite a flash for the price.

20 x 24.

You can remove the tube from the body with the lens attached, when you are able to remove the lens from the tube, the lens shutter will then fire.
-
Without knowing the price you would pay for the 500C, I'll make the general statement that with the depressed prices being paid for used hasselblad bodies, I see no reason to buy a 500C.

I'd go for 4x5, it really opens the door to a lot of artistic possibilities.

Daniel, you are very correct. The leica forum users turn over every rock on the planet looking for some issue to obsesse over.

This is an easy matter, and the choices are only two, sub chapter s corp, or LLC, The answer is extremely easy, single member LLC, all the benefits of incorporation, none of the burdens.

All the zeiss lenses are excellent, any practical diffrerence does not exist between them; pick the focal lenght based upon what you are most comfortable with, handheld would be the 150, a truly magnificent lens.
-
If you want to go medium format, and get the tight shots you want, you'll need extension tubes to add to the lenses. An alternative would be pentax 645 with 120 macro lens, that will focus as close as you want. Disrerding the size of the enlargement, what you will gain in MF is more detail & tonality in the print, even @ 5x7, there is a difference. The nikon 180 is everything he speaks of, but you still would not be able to focus close as you want, a 105 macro in 35mm would do that for you.

Art was referring to Monaghan, not you, as the gentlemen. Yes you will lose image quality with the adapter. How about renting a 60 when you need it ?

To answer your question, a unique & rare occurence here on photo.net,
no.
-
I use the 100- 150 plastic bay 60 shade on my 80, with no problems.
-
I've never seen your camera, I've never used your camera, I know nothing about your camera, but since I love to answer every question, here, let me tell you something that means nothing. Did I tell you I used to be a great photographer ?

Verichrome Pan, smooth as a babys' behind.
-
Use a dime, put a couple in the bag for back up, this is the cheapest hassy back up you'll ever find.

65, 127, 180. No paint chip problems.
Do you call you 120 positives slides?
in Medium Format
Posted
call all the sizes chromes and you can't go wrong. Generally, 120
slides is not the " correct" slang.
