I was thinking the same thing Mark, Thanks for helping me revsit my childhood. Excellent lighting and choice of aperture. The focus is perfect, and the bar leads the eye directly to your subject. I can offer nothing technically, because it is technically sound. The vast amount of space at the top contributes to the size of the subject, and I think that enhances the picture's overall strength. Great subject, Great shot.

You have that special talent of taking an ordinary subject that you see everyday, and making art of it. This makes the viewer see your subject in a new way. Once again, simply excellent. I would advise users of photo.net to view your whole portfolio. You are a very strong photographer. Thanks for sharing. You are definitely on my interesting person's list.

Wow!!! Judging by your portfolio, you definitely have a talent for capturing weather, keep up the good work. Excellent Shot.

I hope I am blessed enough to capture a sunset as lovely as this one. Great job all around. (colors, exposure, perspective, horizon line, etc.)
-
great perspective. nice Shot

Please let me know what you think of this. This is my wife on
Mother's day. This is a real emotion provoking shot for me. I hope I
conveyed the vision and emotion I was feeling when I shot this for
you to see.

WOW!!! I think that about sums it up. I have no constructive criticism, it is perfect. This defines the word eyecatching.

This is the first butterfly captured at my newly built house... I
thought I would share it with you. Ratings are appreciated, but I
would love to know what you think.

Very nice subject, on the next try I would make sure the horizon is straight. the image seems to lean to the left. The weight of the clouds on that side and the lower horizon line are really obvious and it leads the eye down away from your subject. Also it would make the image more interesting if there were something on the water. You might try this image in black and white to see if the mood is portrayed better. Maybe a little dodging and burning just for fun.

I appreciate all the ratings. I really would love to hear some of your ideas to make my future shots better, and comments on this image, as well as receive a rating. Thanks

This is a very nice shot. The death framing the life. Kewl idea...I think a little cropping off the top would be better though, seeing as how that is not in focus and a little more sharpening.

love the lines, plain and simple

This is an awesome shot. The only thing I would change would be to get some people moving around the sculpture. Excellent angle!!! The birdseye vantage point really shows the massive size of the sculpture in proportion to the people around it.

This is an excellent arial view. I would only try to get all the buildings in focus next time.

Please let me know what you think. I am teaching myself to capture
mood w/ black and white and lighting. I underexposed the image to
darken the shadows.
-
I underexposed the frame and I altered the color image to black and white to enhance the mood. I began the frame with the eye on the right because this shot is all about the eyes. No other adjustment layers were added. Please let me know what you think.

Once again, you manage to capture the perfect subject at the perfect time, in the perfect place. Good work man.

This is an excellent balanced exposure even w/ the differences in lighting. I recently went to the Bahamas to get married and this reminds me of one of the days I was there. I love this image. Great job..

This is Sarah my Pit Bull Puppy.... We went out for her morning
routine and she discovered snow for the first time. Unfortunately,
cold weather doesn't aid "natural bodily functions".... Enjoy. Please
let me know what you think.

This is an awesome shot. Nothing else needs to be said 6/6.

This has such a dramatic effect because you used B&W film (good choice). It makes them look like they are fishing in the middle of a hurricane or something. You timed that exposure perfect to maximize the waves.
