has a little barreling. the tones are very soft. perhaps some contrast needed. Brave to be out with a camera in public. interesting first shot. I await more?

I am not well qualified to comment on your light and technical details, however, i enjoy the pose and the almost profile/silohette. strong yet not too heavy.

I am new to PS and am relatively new to photography in general. Having said this, my view is that of appreciation for your talent and obvious eye.

the best balance/composition, wonderful expresive light and exposure. i hope for this some day.

i prefer the rear expression, the near look is almost lost little girl, if you know what i mean. i do like it.

i'm not sure i think of the shadows, rather the evening sunlight wishing me farewell after a day on the beach. like it quite well.

this shot gives me a sense of great pleasure. the color is a little red for my taste.

well thought out for composition. a little too pink perhaps? i like the light and shadows.

 

i like the lines and the light,exposed for the girl. pleasing but for the camera she holds.

 

a very pleasing picture for many aspects. i always admire the capture of a 'moment'.

Thanks for the insight re: Jammin, this one i like for tones and shapes. vertical lines could do with rotation a little to make vertical and the bottom left of the step corner i would like to see cropped into the bottom of the pic. hope you are ok with my thoughts.

Light seems a little strong top and right. Washed out the shoulder a tad. Composition and expression are great, crop could be tighter on the left for me. Hope this is helpful :)

 

Almost invites one to dare to go on. Crisp, well planned/framed/cropped.

Your pose is neat with the balance just a little off centre. Is that intentional? (feet). The crop is a little short in my eye's view. Inspired feelings of tenderness and empathy, as though i were viewing a lonely neighbour through a window. Amazing talent!

 

I like the picture for composition. Not too sure about the pole/light stand emerging from the top of your head. Perhaps a little more contrast? Perhaps lower the glasses to see the eyes (or indeed raise them). I looked at your porfolio and find your work quite appealing!

Great depth and focus, I also like the composition of the three bikes spread like a fan. perhaps a small crop taking the left lower corner detail/footpeg out would help?

 

In general, it appears to convey a message of trust, confidence and friendship. In answer to the questions, I think it succeeds in the area of originalty, the dogs character and reliability.
