>> (You must have come across a rare branch that hasn't upgraded.)
Really? It's on Baker Street (but my prints are more than 6 months old, so perhaps that's why).
Unfortunatelly professional labs are a bit too expensive for me, especially if I ask not 'prosess only' but 'process and prints'.
It is quite difficult to encounter good labs (ie handle negatives with care -- this is a basic but it seems that many labs don't care about customers' negatives). It is truly 'try and error' kind of thing.

Thank you so much for your comments.
So... I can take them either Fuji or Kodak lab?
I thought "ultra" colours come out only on Agfa paper.
I have checked my prints from Jessops which said Kodak on back.
Boots prints are also Kodak. (Both not Royal)
Will try Jessops, perhaps.

I have some rolls of AGFA ULTRA with me and I am wondering where I
should take them in London (I live in central near Baker Street).
I usually use Jessop's, Boots, and Snappy Snaps (but FYI their
branches on Baker Street and Marylebone High Street are not good),
and I do not know what lab machines they are using. And for AGFA
films, I have heard it is better to use AGFA machine and paper.
Does anybody know if Jessop's or Snappy Snaps have AGFA machine? Or
is there any AGFA labs in central? I have seen some newsagents with
AGFA sign in front but not sure if they do proper job...
Any advices much appreciated and I will post my feedback/experience
after I get my films processed.

Thanks for your reply, Hans.
Last time when I developed Acros (exposed as 100) with Acutol (1:9), according to the data sheet i.e. 6min @ 20C, the negative seemed a bit pale/flat (underdeveloped?). I have another exposed Acros (over exposed throughly +2/3 stop ie same as rated as 70?) here with me and not yet decided how I'm going to develop it...
Well, to answer your question, I am using enlargers in a dark room provided by a photographic society, and they are mainly colour enlargers (ie not condenser but diffusion). There is one b/w enlarger by LPL but this one has no timer, so I merely use it. This perhaps means I need rather contrasty negatives, or try on the condenser enlarger.
I also have TMAX 400 rated as 1600, and will develop this with TMAX (1:4). And there are two Ilford Delta 400 rated as 400, and I am not sure if its better to develop these with TMAX or ACUTOL...

Hans,
Thank you very much for your reply. It is very clear to me now and I will follow your recipe (as I have both Fuji 1600 and Acutol... I have never thought of using Acutol for such high speed film, so this is quite exciting challenge).
And the attached image is great, the last time I used 1600 found it too contrasty and grainy, but your photo is not.
Thanx!!

I have bought Acutol and basically I use it according to the data
sheet comes with it or 'massive development chart' online.
Recently I searched Photo.Net and found some comments mentioning the
chemical "increases speed of film", about 1/2 to 1 F-stop or EV".
What does this exactly mean? E.g. if I have Ilford Delta 100 or
Fuji Acros 100,
- Rate/expose as 200 and develop as 100?
- Rate/expose as 50 and develop as 100?
- Rate/expose as 200 and develop as 200?
I am a little confused, and any comments much appreciated.
-
Hans, when you say that, do you mean rate the film as ISO 800 on camera and develop as 1600? Or, shoot as 1600 and develop as 800? Sorry if my question is too stupid...

Oh, thank you sooooo much! I have just visited the site and found
a manual for my camera.
The manual "will be sent to you by first class post within 24 hours." That's more than great.
Thank you! (*^_^*)

I am looking for an instruction manual (users manual) for
Canon Sureshot Classic 120 (Autoboy 120 / PRIMA SUPER 120),
and appreciate any suggestions.
I am in UK and tried to contact Robert Scott (as it is said
this is the place I can buy a copy) but no reply at all.
I have searched on Google if there are any shop selling it
but in vain.
Is there any other shop/place I can try?
Or is there any downloadable manual on the Internet?
Oh, Christmas is coming and I really want to read the manual
before then. :-{

I have been looking for the information abaout COBRA's flashguns.
COBRA seems quite popular in UK, however when I search on Google,
I cannot find any website with its products.
Does anybody know about the company?
I especially would like to know the specifications on D650
flashgun...
