Ewa...thank you!
Arthur...thank you for the insights. Yes, the pearls are always a winner with the little girls. And sometimes I get lucky enough to get the shot too!
Jeff...Great to see your name. Thank you for stopping by. I always appreciate your comments. I will go to your images now.

Thank you Fred. Your feedback always takes me aback...your observations are like works of art themselves! Thanks for stopping by.

Theo, I was delighted to see your name and image for POW. I think this is a great example of your work. Your models communicate a frankness and ease which so many photographers strive for. There seems to be this very comfortable beauty radiating from the model...which is true in so many other images of yours. Congrats on the image. Well deserved.

Jim...I'm so glad that you enjoy the image and the series. It is near and dear to my heart. I am a big advocate of wolf conservation. I am constantly trying to educate people about these amazing animals, so that the persecution of wolves can stop.
In answer to your question, Pao is a she wolf. According to her human, she was hit by a train when she was quite young. That is how she lost her leg. A miracle that she is with us today.
She is an amazing animal that I feel very blessed to know.
Jerry...Glad you got a smile. Interpret the picture however you want, but as you can tell from the attached photo, Pao just likes to give kisses.

Thanks Pierre...you know how I love crows. Quite fascinating animals. Ubersmart ...they remember faces too. So, your daughter's friend may tell his friends about her and her generosity. They are great subjects for art too, because there are so many. The trick is getting them to reveal themselves to you...that's the fun part!

The other day, I was pondering the intelligence of crows and what
might happen if you showed a photo of a crow to a crow.
I decided to go spend sometime with them to find out.

Amazing image, Lawrence. That bit of light on her back turns her into this angel lady. Incredible composition. Love the treatment and attention which areas should be dark vs light. Just brilliant work. One for my faves.

Clever and well done! Your use of lines and repeating patterns is genius! The choice of colors..perfect! I love the splash of red just to make sure (if we haven't already) we are drawn to the woman.

Jeff...This is a lovely image. I can't believe how grown up she is. A really beautiful girl. The first thing I notice is the light. Just perfect, catching that late afternoon sun on her hair. Just enough light on her face too. Her pose is nice too...it looks like there is actually some posing technique going on here...the bends are just perfect. The only things that I find competing for my attention here are the foreground railing. I might give it a closer crop ...not sure as you might lose that great 3/4 height. The other distraction to me would be the tree on the right. I know that you like a natural look to your images without a lot of photoshopping, but you might want to see how it looks without the tree. All in all...great colors, light, model. Nice work!
