Dear Photo-Net ;-)
I see since a few days on near every page a mistake warning (! on
yellow triangle in the lower left corner).
Probably something is wrong with the lates programing here, because
it is only on photo.net, so I expect the problem not to be on my
computer.
Any idea?
Very best regards

Hello Josh,
if you had your scanner set up to 8 or 14/16 bit grayscale, there is no colour information. If the picture on the screen is bad, the monitor should be calibrated. If the prints are bad, it is a mistake of the lab. Labs use to print on colour paper and the picture have most of the time a little magenta or cyan touch.
Not much, you can do against it. I personal have the same problem on my prints and I will buy a Epson 2100 (2200 in the States) with a carbon ink central supply system, as soon as I have the space for the beast.

Hi,
did you install SP2 on your computer in the meantime.
If yes, you must force the system to re-install the USB drivers.
After that, everything should work fine.

Hi Tim,
don't sell it at all, send it in for maintenance and lubrication and keep it as a backup. If you sell it now - with these prices - you only loose money.

I could get the pre-loades 100 Acros, but I'm looking for the simple

Hello Ben,
development times can be found here:
http://www.calbe-fotochemie.com/prod/pdf/A49.pdf
Unfortunately the English data sheet doesn't work on the webside.
You can dilute A 49 1 + 1 and 1 + 2. I suggest for TriX 7.5 min for pure A 49 and a extension factor of 1.4 if diluted 1 + 1 (which I also recomend) 1. minute permanent agitation and for the rest 1 per minute.
To your original question, don't dilute it more than 1 + 2!
Have fun, I expect you will like the results.

Hi John,
developer to fixer without rinsing has the same effect as a stop bath.
Rinse as mentioned and you will not need a hardener at all.

Hi John,
did you use a stop bath? If yes, change to a 2 minute water stop with at least two, better 3 water changes. Efke film doesn't like stop bath at all.

Hello Dave,
I would recomend the AW version of the MiniTrecker. I have my Shen-Hao in there together with a 150 mm and a 210 mm lens 6 sheet holders, two filters, light meter, hood. There is still a little space left. Don't buy the classig, because it lacks the tripod mount, which is the real advantage of the MiniTrecker.
Have fun.

Hello David,
you could try a Jobo CPE-2plus + Lift and the 2523 Tank with the 4x5" reels. Very comfortable, safes a lot of chemicals, absolute consistant results. They are often offered at ebay.

Hello Janko,
I bought a Shen-Hao HZX45-IIA starter kit from http://www.badgergraphic.com/
Shipping cost around 50 . To get the final price, you must add custom fees and local taxes. The peopel at Badger are very very quick in delivery. Example: I ordered mine around noon CET on Monday and the shipment was in on Thursday noon the same week.

Hello Erin,
if you can't get the Kodak you may try the Maco IR 820 c.
Have a look at http://www.mahn.net

Hi,
be carefull with manual lenses on the MZ-50. Exposure will only work propper when "A" lenses are used. You can't use old "M" type lenses.
To make it short, only lenses, where the aperture ring can be set to "A" will work.

Hi Hoang,
please have a look at www.berlebach.de (English as well) These are excellent finished, not to heavy with very good damping characteristics. For a head it is up to your choice: Ball head (fast)or 3 way (more accurate). Novoflex makes excellent ball heads (www.novoflex.de), a good gear 3 way head is made by Manfrotto No. 410(I think they are sold under Bogen in the USA, probably with different article number - don't ask me why)

Hi,
two main reasons: I still own an original, which is not computer based - very, very, very important, since I recently tried to open my diplomar work which has been written on Word 5.5. This was 10 years ago. Nowadays XP programs can not open it anymore :-(
Based on that, the "darkroom" work on the computer is more comfortable and the scanner doesn't need that much space.

Hello Nial,
Calbe A49 1+1 works fine for both Neopans. 100 Acros: 10 min and 400: 12.5 min. 1st min. permanent and the once per minute. 20 ° C.

Hi David,
simple: Scan, adjust colour and kontrast/brightness, retouch - safe. After that, adjust size and then use the unsharp mask - safe under...
Don't sharpen and resize after!

Hello Jeffrey,
for the DD-X exposed to 100 ASA I would start with 9 minutes. Where do you develop your film. Rotating processor, normal tank or bowl? If you rotate, pre wet you films at least for 2 minutes with plain water.

Hello Ali,
it looks like that you have a too high density on your "negatives". A way to work around is, to use a laser printer. They work different in the way the achieve gray. It is the density of single little black spots, but there is always a space between where the light can pass. It works excellent for my cyanos.

Hello Lukasz,
please have a look at www.berlebach.de (English page as well). If the legs are with one extension only, I would say yes. With two extensions you should try it.
Given your measurements - non of the models fits, so I can't figure out, which one you are talking about.
