  1. Hi David,

I carry a Lowepro MiniTrecker AW with:

Shen-Hao HZX45-IIA, 5,6/150; 5,6/210; 5,6/90; 6 Sheet holders, compendium, dark cloth, Gossen Starlight (lightmeter), zwo filters and a reducer ring and on the outside a Berlebach 9013 tripod. Works very well.

    Regards

    Robert

  2. Dear Photo-Net ;-)

I see since a few days on near every page a mistake warning (! on

yellow triangle in the lower left corner).

Probably something is wrong with the lates programing here, because

it is only on photo.net, so I expect the problem not to be on my

    computer.

    Any idea?

    Very best regards

    Robert

  3. Hello Josh,

if you had your scanner set up to 8 or 14/16 bit grayscale, there is no colour information. If the picture on the screen is bad, the monitor should be calibrated. If the prints are bad, it is a mistake of the lab. Labs use to print on colour paper and the picture have most of the time a little magenta or cyan touch.

Not much, you can do against it. I personal have the same problem on my prints and I will buy a Epson 2100 (2200 in the States) with a carbon ink central supply system, as soon as I have the space for the beast.

  4. Hello Ben,

development times can be found here:

    http://www.calbe-fotochemie.com/prod/pdf/A49.pdf

Unfortunately the English data sheet doesn't work on the webside.

    You can dilute A 49 1 + 1 and 1 + 2. I suggest for TriX 7.5 min for pure A 49 and a extension factor of 1.4 if diluted 1 + 1 (which I also recomend) 1. minute permanent agitation and for the rest 1 per minute.

To your original question, don't dilute it more than 1 + 2!

Have fun, I expect you will like the results.

    Best regards

  5. Hello Dave,

I would recomend the AW version of the MiniTrecker. I have my Shen-Hao in there together with a 150 mm and a 210 mm lens 6 sheet holders, two filters, light meter, hood. There is still a little space left. Don't buy the classig, because it lacks the tripod mount, which is the real advantage of the MiniTrecker.

    Have fun.

  6. Hi Hoang,

please have a look at www.berlebach.de (English as well) These are excellent finished, not to heavy with very good damping characteristics. For a head it is up to your choice: Ball head (fast)or 3 way (more accurate). Novoflex makes excellent ball heads (www.novoflex.de), a good gear 3 way head is made by Manfrotto No. 410(I think they are sold under Bogen in the USA, probably with different article number - don't ask me why)

  7. Hi,

two main reasons: I still own an original, which is not computer based - very, very, very important, since I recently tried to open my diplomar work which has been written on Word 5.5. This was 10 years ago. Nowadays XP programs can not open it anymore :-(

Based on that, the "darkroom" work on the computer is more comfortable and the scanner doesn't need that much space.

  8. Hello Ali,

it looks like that you have a too high density on your "negatives". A way to work around is, to use a laser printer. They work different in the way the achieve gray. It is the density of single little black spots, but there is always a space between where the light can pass. It works excellent for my cyanos.

  9. Hello Lukasz,

please have a look at www.berlebach.de (English page as well). If the legs are with one extension only, I would say yes. With two extensions you should try it.

Given your measurements - non of the models fits, so I can't figure out, which one you are talking about.

    Robert

  10. Hello Gina,

congratulations - you got an excellent camera.

For information on Pentax lenses and all the other stuff in K mount see www.bdimitrov.de/kmp/ There is not better information in the web.

    Best regards
