Yea, I mix generic BP-511a's (5D1 & early cameras) with genuine Canon BP-511a in my Canon BG-E4 grip without issue.
They even have unmatching mAh ratings.
No problem

Thumbs up to Kris!
Excellent to share the unused detritus that will surely enjoy a new life of service.

-

My guess matches Dave's.
Reassembly error.

Anything wrong with the 105 2.5 Nikkor?
You can get them for anywhere from 100-175usd depending on the version and they are all good.
The earlier versions are sonnar design so rendering will be somewhat similar to the Jupiter 11.
I do have a Jupiter 11 in contax rf mount and love it but the nikkor will be less hassle imo.
No adapters to fool with.

Yeah, that is crystal clear.

Im a Nikon F Photomic dude myself but always admired the pentaprism styling of the OM series.

In my earlier version of PS it was through the File-Automate-Contact Sheet II then there is a dialog box that lets you select the layout of the sheets (ie 4 images x 6 etc)
It was very common back in ye ole film days but I don't routinely include them these days.
People are much more used to viewing via a laptop etc but I do like contacts personally, and still make them for all my film work.

As far as charging, only you can establish what your time is worth and if you can afford to run some off gratis depending on what your initial fee was.

Nice to see people doing home c41 these days.
It really is simple.

-

Yes, sounds like a Filca.
Push the long skinny spring out while pushing/rotating the button clockwise until you see the opening. Now you can slide the inner pieces out.

Tell us what equipment you have.
What flash model/make and the guide number if possible.
What speed film you want to use.
Camera's sync speed.

-

Figure out what f stop you need/want for the bush/foreground using distance and guide number than control the background with shutter speed.
This is assuming you are using manual mode so the camera doesn't try to take control of shutter speeds.

In other words light the bush/foreground with flash and aperture, and then use the shutter to control how much ambient light in the background reaches your film.

Too bad it took a lawsuit.

-

Yes, it seems most OS's will have a Disk Utility program that can test for errors or bad sectors etc.
Don't know about an actual speed test.

Jim,
I just use hot water after the photoflo step.
The reels clean up well with no issues.

-

I use Patterson rig with PMK and have had no issues over several years.
I will rotate using at various times D76, rodinal, HC 110, and microphen all in the same tanks that I had run the PMK and had no issues.

Note I do wash my reels and tank well after each use with a bottle brush.

AF Nikkor 50mm 1:1.4D
It even has a manual aperture ring.
Imagine that luxury Nikon so generously included for the retail price.

I'm missing some of the kodak b&w emulsions that have been dropping lately like PlusX.
Also not all in production emulsions are available in all sizes/formats.
I guess what I'm lamenting mostly is the drying up of the positives/chrome selections and the difficulty in getting them processed well if you aren't doing it yourself.

-

Yes, without examples it's hard to say but I can suggest perhaps the lens was dropped and one or more of the glass elements got decentered.

Take a shot of a flat surface like the proverbial brick wall and see what it looks like.
You could try stopping down and see if it gets better.
Test at various ranges of the zoom.
Was this a rental lens?

Let us know Kat.
It seems plausible that the prism contacts could be shorting.

-

Some type of Omega...
maybe a D2/DII variant but the lamphouse looks a bit odd to be a D2.

Hard to tell from the angle.

-

Well that's actually good news Kat, as far as the shutter is concerned.
Can you check the pressure plate with the back off and darkslide removed to see it it appears to be closing the side of the filmgate area?
IDK, I'm just sorta grasping at guesses here.
These backs are obscenely priced so maybe you better send it back while the gettings good? ? ?
