Beautiful location and pose

Awesome capture

The lines in the BG make this image very dynamic. Great details in the feathers.

Michael, I tried including more to the right, but with the sun-lit face of the house comes a lot of clutter (trees etc.) that also mess with the balance of the shot and you lose the beautiful orange light in the background... I guess I'll just have to see when I can make it down there again and take a little more time. I was traveling with friends and we were all hungry and eager to get to our accommodation..... I already got in trouble for stopping to take this shot, but I have since been forgiven ;) - it is impossible to drive through Tuscany at this time of day without stopping every 50 to 100 meters....

Great composition. Bravo

This is the shot I would try to get out of this....

I appreciate your comment. I agree with the balance issue. I really like the background with the cypress trees lining the hill and the pine tree and the second farmhouse. I wish I had taken more time to concentrate on that and that I had a 600mm to capture just that detail ;)

I intentionally saturated this image to achieve an oil painting like quality. Thanks for your feedback. It is a crop of the following image:

A lovely day in Tuscany. Thanks for your feedback.

Claude,
thanks for your feedback. To me the image looks fine cropped, but it also loses some elements such as the deep yellow field etc. Maybe I did not crop it as you imagined. Of course at 680 pixel width, the original is pretty small to do it justice, so the crop gains some detail in that regard....

Alternate take of Val d'Orcia. Thanks for your feedback.

Between Pienza and Montichiello. Adjusted the levels in the
background a bit. I prefer this one to the previously posted one.
Thanks for any feedback. Cheers.

These wolves are hard to shoot due to the foliage that interferes with
a clear shot. In this shot I was able to catch them at play without
too much green blur ;)
Thanks for your feedback.
