Yes, I process in E6 (or tell others to, rather..)I'm very careful with not exposing the roll to any light, but I suspect the lab is less careful, once the guy behind the desk opened the can in the bright store.. (Not this roll though, and it doesn't seem to have affected the result) I'm afraid I can't change the lab, I guess the one I'm using is the only one in town that handles ir...

I love the model and I like how the entire photo session turned out.
Do you?
-
It's actually a golden belly chain but that doesn't show...
-
Yeah, I guess the unsharpness was not intentional but caused by long exposure times in a dark room. I don't mind it much though.
-
I had it in my head for quite some time before actually shooting it.
I especially remember having this image in my head, and it turned out
just as I had imagined.

This series is inspired by silent films, especially of the gothic
horror kind. I tried to copy the exotic characters, the theatrical
make up, even on the male actors, and the dramatic poses. Finally I
printed the photos with a dirty overhead sheet over the paper to
create an old and worn look. Did I succeed?

Kinda nice group portrait, but the dog should be in it too, or completely out of it. Like this it's just a distracting white lump in the corner...
-
Well yes, it's an old photo of mine, printed on bad paper. I could make a new copy with higher contrast though.
-
I'm not sure the print is that much better.. The single light made the light parts too light and the dark parts too dark...
-
The photo seems like a snapshot and the effect doesn't add to it
-
Is this real? Or is it some kind of strange filter effect? I mean the pink mist... The scan seems grainy.

Original sunflower shot indeed, not seeing the flower from the front. Great composition with the flowers in a row. Perhaps you should have picked a longer dof for this one?
-
Why the strange texture? Is it a scanning accident or a chosen effect?
-
I guess this is one of the most original sunset shots I've seen.. Not just sea and sky and rocks, and no silhouette people either.. Good composition and nice idea with the lamp and the sun.

Here's that horse again.. Nice colours

I've been told the lighting on this my first series of nudes is too
grey and lacking contrast. Of course, the lighting wasn't the best,
it was just one ordinary lamp. But I kinda like them this way... I
could print them with higher contrast to make them less grey, but I
feel that makes the "magic" dissappear.
-
I don't find the light unflattering, I find it interesting. And I'm not into doing "sexy" photos, not at all, that's not what my nudes are about.
-
let me ask you: what's the reason for using Photoshop instead?
-
I like it, as I like this entire series. Do you?
-
The model herself is very pleased, and obviously her opinion means more to me than yours.

That's not an ikea sofa! That's actually an antique sofa from a secound hand store, so stop insulting it.

I like her silvery white hair
Deadly danger!

I like the bw ones I took on the same occasion better, but I just had
to do some colours shots as well since she had such a cool turquoise
fringe... For some reason I seem to have had trouble getting the
sharpness right...
