Thanks Fern. I'm glad you liked it. The lens I used (Portragon) is a soft focus lens. It doesn't render anything sharp except for the very middle of the image.

Funny is great--and why not. Being too serious can be a downer in this all-too-often quest for "serious art" hobby. I like the exagerated perpective--it brings your smile "front and center."

Trying my hand at product shots. I'm working for an amplifier
manufacturer on a shoe-string budget. I used natural light, outdoors
for this shot. I have darkened it considerably in Photoshop. What
could I/should I have done differently.
Thanks for your help.

This is great, Todd--a lot of fun to view. I really like how the glasses pop out the eyes like the lips below them.

Such and angelic pose. I like the position of her head and her eyes--it's like she is looking up at someone she admires. I'd be inclined to try a B&W version of this.

I like the composition and the position of the giraffes. It made me look twice. Keep up the good work. You have a great eye!

Amazing shots, one and all. Are the swirling effects a natural product of environment, or are you manipulating the smoke in some way?

I've always found landscapes the hardest to do well. Sure, the
subject holds still, but you the photographer has to create the mood-
-the personality of the scene. Do I have a sense of mood here?
Please tell me truthfully, don't hold back, about what is good and
ultimately what could use improvement. I'd really like to move
forward in the area of photography. Thanks for your time, Rick.
