This used two incense cones rather than the single cone used for all

previous smoke images. How do you like the results?

I am also now using a slightly modified lighting set-up. The incense

is now supported on a 8" diameter, 3" high Pyrex bowl, instead of the

wine glass/salt/coin arrangement used in the past. This has improved

the light dispersion and color spread. I am very pleased with the

results.

These images are here for all to enjoy and to possibly provide an

incentive for others to try this genre. Thank You for your feedback.

Amazing shots, one and all. Are the swirling effects a natural product of environment, or are you manipulating the smoke in some way?

I love it! How do you make smoke seem so colourful and cheery!? How do you do it?

I will put together an illustrated tutorial on the techniques I employ to make these images. I will announce it to all when it is done.

As for the question regarding Smoke Control; The movement of the smoke is directed ONLY by the air currents in my workspace and the heat from the smouldering incense.

I will try to get the tutorial together in the next few days. Please stay tuned...
