    Thanks for taking the time to comment and for expressing your personal preference, Ramualdo, but, of course, my purpose as the photographer was not to make her look pleasant, but to capture something different in her personality.

    Especially dramatic at the larger setting. Such a wonderful place ... it's incredible so much of it, like this pool, is still pristine. My daughter and I have been visiting Yellowstone together since she was in grade school -- and she's now 34.
  1. In 1900, prospective settlers -- many of them newly arrived

    immigants -- were conveyed by horse and buggy to this building in an

    otherwise vacant part of North Dakota. Here they were rushed into

    buying land from the vast acreage granted the Northern Pacific

    Railroad by the Federal Government. Today, most of their descendents,

    and the railroad tracks,are long gone.
