Very well composed and balanced shot, full of detail and such atmosphere.

This is a very long way form Penzance, I went there once along time ago, to my regret without a camera. If I had have had one would have hoped to have a picture as good as this in my album.

This is Trevalor woods

Taken with a Canon 350D, a little selective work in levels and then
the sky was added.

Shot on a Canon 350D against a blurred photographed background of
similar foliage. The small droplet is a copy of the larger one on the
left. This new droplet was copied and distorted to create a new
shape, some of the texture from the other two droplets was cloned
into the third. I used this technique to compensate for the extreme
depth of field at f16 (maximum on this lens) I added the other
droplet simply to balance the composition. The lens used a 50mm Super
paragon macro lens and adapter. I think this picture demonstrates you
do not have to spend a fortune on lenses to get decent results. The
Paragon lens cost less than 6 on Ebay.

105 f 3.8 lens.

This is a black and white conversion. The work was done in Photoshop
7.
Shot from the balcony of my home in Penzance England. The lens was a
manual focus 135mm M42 lens bought on Ebay for 5. I used an adapter
to attach the lens to a Canon 350 D. The camera was mounted on a
tripod and an aperture of f11 and a shutter speed of a 1/200 of a
second was used to expose the shot.
