Chris Coulston has been a professor of Computer Engineering at Penn State Erie for
the past 10 years. He enjoys teaching students how to design digital systems to solve
practical problems. In his spare time Chris races bikes and runs, a lot. He is attracted
to endurance events because they are less about competing against other riders and
more about competing against oneself.

Andy's all about architecture and graphics. He can’t live without his green canvas sketch book, his fine ball point pen, his watch and his keys. What else ? Yes, he doesn’t put sugar in his coffee.

I think you could have moved little bit forward and avoided the tree on the right-hand side, which I feel is not rhyming well with the composition ... it wouldn't even hurt to remove [with photoshop] the stop sign, unless you like it there.

Welcome.
First thought is, I can't find the subject of the image very easily ... foreground feels little disorderly ... if you could have found a more cleaner weeds/grass, it would have improved the composition ... although I like the quality of light, clouds/sky & your processing skills.

the imbalance of light fall-off in the right corner is little strong ... may be a longer exposure could have flatten the water more, but it's a good composition.

I like the thought, but I feel you needed something more interesting in the door opening ... because my eye leads from the wooden planks to towards the door but it doesn't find anything interesting there ... just a thought ... I think you can still work with this concept ... may be make someone stand there, like a child in further distance.

Try more closer framing - my eyes don't stay on the stream itself - take a look at your DOF, front is out of focus.
-
I think I generally like it, esp the stone texture and the water action - if possible go there again and try little longer exposure, may be in different light - keep it up !

I like the shot - did you try b&w - might emphasize the texture more

This looks like a good shot, just right part of image is not contributing a lot - may be the girl needs to in right side of the image - a different crop perhaps ?

Good concept, at first I thought it was reflection off of some wood.
