great job of capturing the moment, this photo kinda lept out at me. i would try to add a dark frame around it because the clouds at the top just seem to keep going otherwise.

nice photo. intetersting shot but it's really contrasty to the point where it looks really unnatural. play around with that and see what you think.

any advice or reasons you like this are appreciated.

I really like the lines in this photo. One thing though, the windows at the top, the light coming throught is too strong you're losing the outlines.

personally i thought this was an interesting shot. usually you'll see photos of huge bridges right in the foreground. I like how it catches my eye but the boat is still the main attraction. but the others are right about the pillars, if i had to pick something.

My brother is in the process of rebuilding my 1988 Firebird. You gotta tell my how you got the cripness and quality out of such a dark shadowy engine (and yeah I know the one in your photo is quite clean and shiny). :-) canonshooter33@yahoo.com

does anyone have any comments or suggestions about what you do or do
not like about this photo and how you would improve it?

i think excellently composed

looks like something that would be found in WA state. not sure wheter i would like it more if the water was frozen in the photo instead of running but with the amount of green moss in the photo it doesn't really mater.

since you're used to seeing pumpkins against brown dirt the ice and snow really make the orange pop out. it almost looks like it's swimming in milk at first glance. very interesting.

nice contrast on a subject that is primarily one color. nice use of light. the straight tree in the center looks fine because it's slightly out of focus inthe background and helps to show the light that was coming through.

I like the antique look, and composition is good. It would look better I think if the steering column was in focus. That's just my opinion though.
