using a white background and a pair of flashes, cropped in photoshop
from 35mm. what do you think of this idea? any suggestions to improve
it?
-
i think you did it, i might even like this one better
-
please share your thoughts, thanks!
-
please let me know what you think of this. this is one of my first
attempts with flower photography. please leave a critique, thank you.

let me know what you think, this is one of my first attempts with
flowers, there's a few others in my portfolio as well.

this is great all around. exposure is spot on. concept is original. very nice indeed.

yeah, the head is a tad low but i blame that on thirst. it's difficult to work with such appetizing models.
-
does this shot look appealing to you? what could you improve on it?
thanks for your input.

what do you think of this photo? the photo was taken in a small studio
set up, white background, tilt flash (canon 420ex) fired through a
brown beer bottle for the color. if you were to use this as an ad,
what would you improve on? how would you make this better? thanks.

don't be discouraged, i think you accomplished or captured a great shot. no, it doesn't look totally natural but it is beautiful none the less.
-
please tell me your thoughts about this. honestly there's no real
theme to this. i was just playing with a new technique - using a
flashlight as a source of light. the amber color is shined thru a pint
of ale and then spot lit on the turtle.
-
nice angle, i wish i could see a little more in the bottom right. i like how the lines lead the eye down the escalator and then back up again.
-
haha, yes! it works. makes you feel like you're between a few different perspectives.

it's like this...i like the crop and the shape of this photo, but the other has more tusks so it has a lot of appeal. i think the perfect shot would be these dimensions with the inclusion of the tusks on the other one. oh well, we can't always have everything. it's a great shot either way.

hello, please take a look at this photo and tell me what you like and
dislike about it. it was done in a studio with one overhead strobe and
a gelled light on the background. the only purpose of this shot was
to make a picture that was fun and interesting/different. thanks.

i'll start harsh and end kindly. the seem on the cranium from the autopsy or medical class draws away too much attention. could use more contrast overall to make the cranium stand out more. i'm undecided on the red rose on b & w, mostly because it's been done so much that it's not as unique as it could be. Also the stem sticking out may work against you. This isn't all bad. I like the idea a lot. The light is good. Composition is nice. If you haven't already, it'd be interesting to see a shot with some of these modicications. Good luck.

i like the composition and the message that i get from this photograph. one thing, i would've liked a shallower depth of field rendering the protestor even more out of focus. and i'd like to see a shot of the protestor pin sharp and the cop out of focus, probably even more so because the photo is all about the protestor and not as much the cop. nice shot.

this is excellent in a thousand ways. i was reading through the june issue of photography monthly and there's an on going contest, this month's category is "color impact". something like this comes to mind, it's a winner, well done.

an ocean?
