Texture and detail is what impresses me here
-
top class, original and perceptive
-
apart from the bit in the bottom left hand corner, the sun flare is used here to great effect. the angle of the mountain and the direction of the path of the people really conveys the difficult trek they have got to make - I think that it could be more timeless if it was black and white and could spark reminicses of the first treks up Everest! colour vs B+W - two very different moods of photograph.
-
How does it affect you guys?
-
great composition - although if the kid down below was looking up at the other kid, it would have portrayed more of a relationship between the two boys
-
I think the image would have been more powerful if the facial expression of the child on the left was detailed.
This is a great concept - again I love your perception.
And can you tell us how you acheive the beautiful surreal effect of making nightime appear from daylight in this folder?
-
I would have liked to have known what the image would have looked like with a higher depth of field.
-
The ONLY suggestion I have is that I think the contrast could be increased about +20 using photoshop.
this is a beautiful image beau - a wonderful combination of chance and perception.
-
what I rate personally is how many responses you get for your pictures - I wish I knew your secret - i think it has to something to do with Forum etiquette and method rather than quality of pics - the pics i've uploaded are my best, although they rarely get more than about 3 responses max, if at all.
-
a good opportunity to use photoshop to erase what is said on the sign and write something more witty/incidental in.
-
i think it would have a more timeless effect if you made it B+W in PS.
-
v commercial, bit bland/crude. was this a commission?
-
kind of like that picture "cornet" by william eggleston - your effort has paid off
-
v professional looking, I like the sepia tone to the photograph
-
I was just thinking the same thing about the guitar. Also perhaps the composition could be altered so that we can see the whole of the head of the guitar.
-
very cool, what was the shutter speed
-
I absolutely love this picture - the amount of detail and the qualities in the sky make this beautiful. it really puts you at the helm of the ship! my favourite so far.
-
nice. I think that the composition could have been better if there was less empty space before where the lampposts start - they seem rather distant with the amount of ground in front. you could crop the bottom 30-40% off.
-
-
why be so stingy with your image sizes - it really doesn't do justice to your pictures. don't worry, we won't steal them
-
-
Back to the future III anybody?

its a shame that it was overcast that day in the sense that everything on the ground is in shadow - what I do love is the composition and the amount of detail.
