Good try, but you've got the least interesting parts (the leaf above and the ones below) in focus, and blurred the main leaf.
It looks like you were trying to focus on the center water drop (which is well in focus,) but I'd suggest pulling your focus further forward so that more of the water drops are in focus.
Also, the leaf on the right is v. distracting - It might just be me (I really dislike out of focus forgrounds;)

Hmmm, you got a pretty girl to pose for you... that's definately a plus.
But you did a sloppy job of extracting her from the original background; check around her left lower leg and shoe; you can still see the original background.
The lights in the top, being the brightest thing, are where the eye goes, when it should go to the girl.
And you overdid the flares in my opinion. Overall, I'd prefer more restraint in photoshop.

The red and the blue could do so much for each other if only there was some seperation... And it would cure that dolphin growing out of her shoulder. :)
I'd also suggest a shallower depth of field - Blur out the leaves in the background to avoid having disatracting detail and you'd have a red/green/blue triumverate.
Great smile on the model too!

I actually like the original colours better than the suggested change - more surreal.
The path is a bit too central perhaps, but I can't see anywhere I could crop to move it off-center without losing something important...

Very nice. In the thumbnails, I was expecting a pure silouette, but was pleasantly surprised to find detail in the shadows.
A great presentation of a difficult subject to expose.

Taken at the Art Deco Society of California Gatsby picnic in 2001.
This girl's father was a photographer, and the brownie was loaded with
film. I took her picture, she took mine.

I'm sorry, but the white in the rock at the edge really makes it look like the kid is peeing.

I like that this confused me - "How on earth could this structure exist?" The blend between the bottom 1/3 and top 2/3 is good, but the straight edges in the top are a bit too obvious.

Very very nice, but too symmetrical. I'd crop some off the left hand side.

nice!

The people in the front row somehow look bored, which isn't what I'd expect at a concert. I'd crop them out.

To me, this is a strong photo that didn't quite make it.
Orange is a powerful colour - The forground is a powerful place. Yet both are out of focus here, and you've focussed on the midground.
The woman and child on the right are great - they could stand on their own.
