Sorry to be dragging around Steve, This is very good photograph. This is even more amazing that it is 1600 ISO Hand held At 1/2 sec with a 10D(not known for low noise above 400 ISO). Great Stuff!,Friend Bill

Norman, I find the 2X converter softer and seems to slow the AF down. That rig must have weighed 15lbs. Thats why I just got the 300f4 IS so I wouldn't have to use the converters and feel like I'd been in the gym all day. The 1.4X is fair but I don't likr the slooo... 2X.Check you later, Bill
