Wonderful photo. However -- I've said this before -- why add it to the journalism category and not to the portrait series? Although his face is telling thousands of stories, you don't even know his name...

willing, but totally out of focus...

Are long shadows of gravestones telling us a story? What makes them worth a news photo?

I never understood why one should deplete the colors or put color spots into a bw picture...

Thanks for not adding another photograph of the graves of Jim Morrison or Oscar Wilde...

As always, there are people who try to downrate photos. I never understood why...

Antonio, if a simple photo of a park or garden needs so much explanation, why should it be journalism? Yes, the issue of Prime Minister Simeon Saxecoburggotski having regained his former estates is a highly sensitive political issue in Bulgaria, but a single photo alone does not tell the story. If you showed, for instance, the prime minister in the garden, it would be different. This is also true for your picture of the mosaic in the Ceausescu villa (although I acknowledge that it would be difficult to put late Ceausescu into the picture).

Very good idea!

Brilliant shot! I like the selective DOF, the colors...

I am sorry to say that, but the motive is seen far too often in family albums, and the technique (out of focus)adds to the bad impression. With the equipment used, you should have been able to take a much better photo.

I like the picture, but does it tell anybody who doesn't speak Russian what it says? Maybe you should have at least called it "Emergency exit."
