A slight brightness adjustment from the previous version. An
improvement perhaps?

Soft light on this cloudy day in the Nation's Capital. Thanks for
looking!

A simple shot...thanks for looking.

I've had suggestions to crop the negative space on the right...agree
or disagree? Thanks!

Any thoughts on exposure? Comments appreciated.

I love this shot. Great textures and monotone colours...these add a somber overtone to the animal's already sad expression. The crop and aspect ratio are just great, it works very well with the simple, dark frame. Just wondeful.

Tried the 'natural frame' approach. Comments?

I love the idea and the feel of this photo. The colour and lighting are great...nice and warm, but the dog is just a little underexposed (always a problem with pets with black coats). I assume you tried to crop someone out from the left of the frame? That remaining body part is a little distracting. I might try and either include more at the left of the photo, or clone it out. If you have more frame to work with, you might get more of the dog as well which would help identify it.
Keep up the good work!

Nice low perspective puts you right in the game. Great exposure and shutter speed. I was going to suggest boosting the contrast but I think the slightly lower contrast gives a 'dust-in-the-air' feel to it that I really like. If only the ball was an inch to the right on the dark background!
Well done!

If you could seperate the boat from the rest of the image, the scene would come across more clearly. If you can, play with the curves to get those mid and darker tones to play well together you'll turn this image from very nice to fantastic. Some burning / dodging may also help.

Nice lighting on her face, certainly a moment well recorded. The upper-right corner is still a bit distracting, not sure how I'd go about fixing it though...cropping might be tough, although she could go slightly off centre if you have more image to work with.
