NIce work.

The background compliments the flower well. I just agree that perhaps there should be more breathing space around the bloom.

An interesting angle that you found for this nasturtium - resulted in a great shot!

As the days go by, this orchid has gone from a discreet pink speckled
flower to this rather plain - yet still interesting - specimen.
Comments as always, really are appreciated.

Radu - the flamelike tips of the stamens are beautiful. The really stand out well.

Didn't realize they were out in the garden - I thought this was a studio shot! For some reason, I love the back view - it works well here, without having to show stamens, piths etc etc. Such a very clear picture, you ca see every tiny detail - nice one!

In some cases, they skip a year - aargh!

You wait a whole year, but then are rewarded with a least a couple of
lemony scented orchids. Thanks for stopping by - comments appreciated,
we try to improve..

An interesting angle for a picture from China- not the sort of image one conjures up when thinking of the country. Nice soft lighting allowing one to see all shadow detail. Probably hard to do, but maybe you could have waited for the people to leave the frame ?

Thanks Jim, for taking the time to scrutinize my image - much appreciated!

A beautiful flower, some natural light and some textures. All comments
appreciated.

Thank you Rosario

Grown in a coconut shell (will have to change that after this flowering as it's
too big for the shell), a cattleya hybrid (no idea which one as there are sooo
many). Colors are pleasantly lively. Appreciate any comments you may
care to make. Thanks for stopping by

Great lighting - the petals look like flames.
