I think it's a great photo. The lighing is right on the money, no distracting background, and all the other fundamental basics,--focus, etc. The composition is also nice.

What a great match of lens to subject! Well positioned and effective. As you know, positioning a fisheye lens is tricky!
-
It's a very fine shot but I only wish it were sharper. (Nothing that PS would fix for you). It's just not sharp. I would have gone a bit wider, too, if the lens would allow it.

Handheld took a decently exposed photo and put it into the trash. Either use a tripod or use a convenient light pole or bus signpost. Why the aversion to tripods??
-
Great, brilliant colors! Fine composition. I like it!
-
An extremely fine portrait that emphasizes texture and uses a texture light effectively. Great job!

A very contrived pose. Just doesn't work for me. Lighting is boring. Sorry.

The fence is distracting to me of what would be a very simple, uncluttered, scene. Just my take on it!

A nice approach to a popular subject (http://www.photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=698853)
A nice sky worked well for you.

A nice composition.

A truly outstanding action shot!! All the elements are there,--composition, action, and nice colors.
-
Jerry,-I think the composition is just fine! I think it's great that we can go back now and with modern scanners, digitize and restore old images. It's interesting to see whether we've gotten any better, too!

The strength in this shot is great,--and the interaction of the two birds! You have a good eye for a fleeting moment!
-
This is precisely why it's nice to have the technical data! You did a great job with sharpness and exposure,--a nice composition! Apparently a great lens!

Hey! you're not supposed to scan postcards and post them here!
-
What a nice composition of such a rare event,--fog in SF! Nicely done. Thanks for posting it here.

It looks like you're like me,--you get out to a lot of nice places to shoot. You have a good eye for composition but your shots are soft. Have you considered a tripod? It's a waste not to get good sharp shots when you're on the road,--maybe a small one that you can take along fairly easily. (I use the Gitzo 1228 and it fits in my bag). Keep shooting!

A great composition and tone. The building in the foreground helps balance the entire image (but you knew that).
-
I had to copy, invert, and flip to figure out what you did. Neat! Taking something extraordinarily common and giving it a new look.
-
Hey! What time's lunch! Always think I'm in the backcountry with your shots. Thanks for sharing.

Nicely composed, printed, and assembled. All the right elements! (I like Mortensen, too).
-
All the right elements included, including man-made for scale. Great Velvia colors.
-
great effect and exposure! You mean he's NOT real?
On top of a building in the Jewish quarter, I overexposed this one but I like it the way it is
