Hi, Jim,
To tell you the truth, Arbat is the name of old Moscow street in downtown, which was source of inspiration for many Russian musicians and poets. Modern Arbat is remodeled for tourist's needs walking street, it is pretty, but in my opinion, lost that "unique Russian spirit" this nova days. The man on the picture is Dyadya Vova, who was an engineer before, but last fourteen years paints and sells matreshkas (sets of nesting dolls)-traditional Russian souvenirs. Color version and full frame you can find here
Thank you for your interest and comment!
Will be looking forward to see your new folder with familiar pictures.
All the best,
Galina

Jim... It's been a while.
You mastered your surrealistic skills and I am glad you are willing to share your new works.
From long time ago I remember your image "reflections in government building", which impressed me a lot and since than reflections are one of my main interests in photography.
Here reflections captured talented and clear, the contrast between refracted and real windows lines is amazing as well as strong light and shade contrast.
Great job here!
Best wishes,
Galina

A very good moment, priceless expressions captured in difficult light conditions. I know very little about film photography and I am pretty sure you have done the best possible to manage the backlight. I probably would appreciate a little more light on those faces and maybe a little more less yellow but some more red in toning. Other than that fine and interesting work.
Good job, Sam!
Best,
Galina

Congratulations with new 600g lenses, Michel!
It is amazing how you could get only water drops in focus and give just a hint for everything else...
I like a lot vivid delicious color of flower, beautiful lines, the light captured with perfect exposure. The only wish that stamen on the front would be out of focus as well (I am not sure that it is possible technically so without Photoshop)In spite of this, artistic picture, attracts attention and keeps it.
Best,
Galina

Hello, Bora,
first of all thank you for your attention to my work, much appreciated!
I looked though your pictures again and have to admit, some of them I liked even more. The series snow pictures is my favorite, I like suggestively, I like that your captured atmosphere as subject.Compliments,
