You need to use the function buttons to set manual focus and then select the correct hyperfocal point. This is slightly frustrating for two reasons. 1- you have to reset it for each photo. Can't just leave it on 3metres
Ivan,
Set up manual focus with custom function #7 and you can leave it at 3 metres forever.

Congrats. I went through this three months ago. I brought a whole bunch of stuff, but wound up just using a canon s50. I recommend your canon A75. Put it on the "P" and fire away.
Good luck.

Remember to take the lens cap off.

Nice shot Luis.
I think Frank was being a little over dramatic by calling Vancouver a Police state. He is right about the police being under staffed though.

Excellent idea Gene.
I'm in. This is just the excuse I need to dust off the real oldies, but goodies.

Nice Site. Very professional looking and very fast for me. If I were looking for a photographer, I would give you a call.
I wish I could make something even remotely close to that.
Good work!

Your in auto mode.
When your in auto mode, pressing the shutter release button takes a meter reading and exposes the film for the required time. 16 seconds to 1/1000 of a sec.
