i like the sense of expansiveness given by the large icy area on the bottom of the photo. I think the clouds should be a bit more prounounced, though-maybe a polarizer would help? -

this kind of looks like a composition of two pictures, since the foreground is so dark, and the background so light.

for starters, size the image down so I don't have to scroll around to see all of it-I reccommend 800x600. There also seems to be a lot of dust particles or something on your scan. -

when i first saw this photo, i just saw the top of the tree, and i thought that made a very neat picture. If you crop below the last branch on the main tree, you might find a second photo within this one.
