good focus and lighting. a solid colored background would be good, but not essential. -
the light is kind of bright on his forehead, but the model and pose is great. -

very cool. a bit higher DOF to hold all the staples in the frame in focus would be good, IMO.

great lighting, and an adorable dog. I think cropping out the curtains, corner of the bed, and the pillow would make it look much more proffessional.

good diagonal composition of the tower, but it could use tighter cropping on the top and left. -
very nicely done. I'm not sure if I like the stray hairs over her shoulder, I think it would look better if she had her hair all over one shoulder.

as a piece of trivia, that exact same formation is where the yosemite web cam is pointed. very nice shot.

great lines and shadows. I like the way the colorized leaves contrast against the deck. perhaps cropping off the dark area at the very top could be good? -
very well done. that is beautiful. the frame within a frame is very well done, and the silhouette of the painter is quite nice too.
