For me it seems that the quality of your scanner is just fine. In this picture the corridor is the thing that captures my gaze, the girl in the foreground is a good addition. Her interest of the painting (?) on the wall makes me wonder if there is something interesting back there too.

Good use of perspective and tonality is also for my liking. I would have liked to see the sky a little bit sharper, because now the foreground seems to be just a little bit separate from the background.

I like the land coming from the right into this picture but for me the blues look a little dull, and the picture seems to loose a bit of it's dimensionality.

Very interesting indeed... clever use of angle, and the positioning of the legs creates just the feeling that the person in the picture is relaxing, maybe even with that cup of tea...

Foreground and background have the same tonality but still those leafs in the foreground are well visible. Good feeling of a sunny day here.

Especially considering the limited capability of 7Hi to record dynamics (my friend works with that camera too) of the scene this is also technically fantastic.

I really like the way nature is overcoming human structures in this picture... so gently but certainly. Maybe a little different angle for this shot could work also, I was thinking about shooting so that those steel frames would be straight in the picture.

I think that show from even lower angle would have highlighted those hays even more. Now they merge with the background quite a bit.
