pawel1 0 Posted March 29, 2004 Very dramatic; well done. Good sharp focus on the face; like the way you caught the snow. Link to comment
Ray House 4,524 Posted March 30, 2004 Very nicely done! A rare treat to see an unmanipulated photo of this caliber. Thanks. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted March 31, 2004 As Pnina noted... much more majestic than the other version - almost regal. Well captured. Did you sharpen this up much? Link to comment
r_puterbaugh 0 Posted March 31, 2004 Thanks for all the nice comments. I'm still going through the pictures I took of this guy and so far this is one of my favorites. The light was better on this one and I was at a better angle than the other picture that I posted for a critique. I didn't need to sharpen this one as much as the other one either. I used Amount 50% Radius 1.0 pixels and Threshold of 10 levels in unsharp mask. Link to comment
angus lai 0 Posted March 31, 2004 Excelent, but how could you took this photo without being eaten??? The tiger was running toward the camera :) Link to comment

r_puterbaugh 0 Posted April 1, 2004 Taken during a workshop near Duluth MN that was run by Jerry Jividen, of imagesunique.com and Troy Hyde, of Animals of Montana http://www.animalsofmontana.com/meet_troy3.html. We also photographed a lynx and a pack of wolves during the workshop. Link to comment

lukep 0 Posted May 2, 2004 I am curious - did you really take this in Duluth? I was romantically hoping it was in siberia three days away from the nearest help and taken with a wide-angle lens!! ;) Link to comment
