What do you think about this photo? I couldn't do much about the

composition as the horse has been really fast at that moment so how

    does it work?

Shot at the so called "Fuchsjagd" (fox hunt) where numerous

obstacles had to be conquered by the riders.

  1. Not that spectacular but I love the colours Velvia 50 gives me! The

lighting is also very interesting as you would expect the mountain to

be totally dark because it is backlit. Actually the sunlight bounced

off the mountains behind me and providing still enough light to keep

    the details.

    But I love this blue!

Any comments, ratings and critique welcome!

Thanks for all the nice words!

Actually I don't have anything like a ND filter so I just have to stick to the result the "pure" lens gives me on the film.

    Regarding the rotation:

I used the lens in maximum wide angle (i.e. 28mm) tilted upwards to get this shot and the fence wasn't quite straight. So it is hard to judge if it does need rotation. I actually rotated it in Photoshop to one side and to another and ending with this version which I think is the best.

This is a good shot of a cool car but the contrast seems a bit heavy on that one. Nearly no detail in the shadow area but the front part of the car is blown out. Were the conditions really like that? But with that it has quite a surreal effect to it.
