Nice collection! Most likely of interest to a historic society.

Matt: He didn't look at what he selling. He just put it up for sale
without looking. I wasn't trying to defend him, just trying to
understand his action.
-
Many great great photos on the contest link. Much talent . Very
impressive.

Ah Gene, don't get me started! I v'e been trying to behave, but its
not easy.
-
Bill, what doe's negt mean? What is it an abreviation for?
-
Well he probubly is not a camera dealer, but an auctioner who
came accros this camera and box etc. as a set, and just didn't
know.

Alan, all I can say is you have a nice set of cameras. Have you
used them all? If so, which is your favorite or most used. I have
several medium format cameras, but for on the go casual use
my old Yashicamat 124 sees the most action. Although I have
been having fun lately with a Minolta Highmatic 7S I cleaned up
and replaced light seals in.

Nice work with such a simple camera! Your'e right, things sure
are going away. Drove through areas I knew 30 years ago where
farmland and woods once existed and now many many new
large houses.
-
I like the Tree pic. Looks like another nice set of cameras!
-
Beautiful color and depth of field.
-
I particularly like pic #2. Very very nice.
-
Nice set of cameras! Are they what you could call "art deco" ? I
don't know why but when I look at the red one all I can think of is
a 1962 Ford Falcon.(black with red interior).

I think, many people here on the classic site have photos worthy
of photo of the week. The regulars who post photos here work
hard at it. Most are done with old cameras of all types and
limitations. Many are shot with old out dated film and developed
and printed by hand. I do think that there are regular posters here
who should be recognized by Photonet for their contribution to
the rest of us.

I think they should take a hard look at some of Dean Williams
photos. And Gene should have one of those globe icons next to
his name. Hey! I sent in my dues and I don't have a gift box in
hand icon. Please don't take me too seriously, god knows I don't.

.They were waiting too long. Lighting is too flat. Take them
outside have fun and shoot away.

Can't quite tell. My Rollei, yashicamat 124, Minolta Rangefinder.
All so damn close.
-
Nice camera. Looks like it has a nice clear lens.
-
Thats one cool camera!

Dean: I like your style. Nice lighting and composition.
Outstanding work. You have an excellent eye.

Micah: Great pic of your dog. Last year our 15 year old Baset
Hound past away. Now I'm stuck with our goofy black lab to go
out on photo safari sunday with. She is not that interested in the
photo aspect of the trip, just the free dog treat the girl at dunken
donuts gives her.

Fantastic!

Gene: The old ice mill in Granby I believe is on of Carver Street. I
will check the street this weekend. If you have a copy of the
Granby 1976 Bi-centenial book there is a photo of it in there
when it was a complete building. It is near the belchertown line I
think. If you left belchertown following Rockrimon road It should
be on the right. I will confirm.
-
Thats it. I am heading their this weekend! I drive by it during work
hours all the time. As a side note do you know where the old Ice
house or mill is or whats left of it in Granby? I re-discovered it
this past sunday and am going back before it is all gone.

I recognize the old state hospital. You might also like to go to the
one in Northampton (to photograph) before it is re developed.
Parts of that old state hospital are being torn down. Big place.
Does anybody know what this is?

I'm poking around the internet for info. So far I think pre ww2
Zeiss Ikon folder, 120 film 6x9. ( I know it marked zeiss ikon). I
could not find an exact match. Have you opened the back to find
any printing or a takeup spool. I assume of course you checked
carefully for film. If I find more info I will post it.
