Try Vision Graphics - go direct or through one of the better camera stores in the city..

Something simple to try:

- take some binoculars and mount them on a tripod
- point them BACK TO FRONT at the sun (ie: eyepiece end points at the sun)
- hold a nice piece of reflective white cardboard or paper a little distance from the other end of the binoculars.

Now you have a safe way to photograph and view the sun. This makes it easy to view sunspots or anything else interesting. No danger to your eyes, and you can have many people at once viewing the image.

Try setting the F100 to Shutter priority and then setting the speed to 1/250th.

Looking at some of the other Pulitzers, I particularly liked 1996's feature photography, by Stephanie Welsh.
I guess if you are motivated by a subject matter it doesn't really matter who you are or how much technical skill you have (ie: the 1996 shots are far from great technically).

In Sydney they have them at the Museum of Contemporary Art.
In Melbourne there is a shop selling Lomo's, somewhere in an arcade on Collins street...believe it is called "Genki". Not sure on the address.

Jobo CPE-2 kaputt!

I had this happen - I think the chemicals wore out the contacts on the switches.
My solution was a bit crude, but very simple. Just replace the old Jobo specific switches/pots with generic ones and connect them with wires to the circuit board. No need for finding the exact part. Means you need a bit of cutting on the external plastic to make them fit, but that's not very hard.
