A lone recumbent rider leads during the flat sections of the

London-Edinburgh-London audax ride. Later on he was overtaken in the

    hilly sections.

There were surprisingly hardly any crashes during this race despite the demanding circuit. Also this rider stayed upright and resumed his race, there were only one or two laps left for him and he was towards the back of the field.

Most riders ran on this section of the track, this AA Team rider opted

for riding through the loose sand. Taken with a Zenitar Fisheye.

  1. The black/white version indeed gives another perspective, my eyes are more drawn to the two last riders in the black/white version, in the colour version more to the upper riders. This crop works well for the black/white but less for the colour version.

Speedskating is a theme where it's hard to get everything right ;) Half the days I shoot speedskating I arrive home with only average pictures.

    Still going strong.

Dutch rider Cor van Leeuwen at Paris-Brest-Paris. He paced himself

surprisingly well, nearly allways on the timelimit but making it to

the finish still within the limit. Nearly 2000 other participants

    can't boast on that.

Home rider Alain Decugis allready worn out during his first day of

Paris-Brest-Paris. 8 hours after this photo was taken he would drop

    out at the Loudeac control.
