I just bought a d60 and it takes wonderful outdoor pics, but inside
things are just not quite right. The WB seems off and the flas
exposure is not quite right. I have tried the pop up flas and my
420ex and neither seems to be anywhere close to my 20d. Any
suggestions, or is this behavior common for the d60

Is 100 to 5 the same as 20 to 1?

I have had 2 terrible experiences there. No one shoudl to business with them.
Try Colorado Camera.

Ouray is a long way. From RMNP it will take you 7 or 8 hours to travel to Ouray. There are plenty of sport in and around the park to fill your time. If you really want to leave that area and you want reflections tri twin lakes by Leadville. It is beautiful and a place less traveled by tourists.

Visit the missions. All are very photogenic, but massion San Jose is the biggest. It offers an arch line walkway that is beautiful to shoot. I also like mission COnception with it's domed roof and art work.

If you find you don't like your c330 i am sure there are tons of people here who would take it off your hands

Heck don't draw the live. Get your dremel and carefully carve a line around it then paint it red. You want to get it right.

Lake Dillon is very close and a nice place to shoot pictures. As far as your tripod situation, there is a Wal-Mart there. If i am going to be somewhere for a week and cannot take a tripod i go but a cheepy (20 bucks) and just leave it in the hotel when I am done. You shoudl love Brek, my wife and I go there all the time to take pictures or even just for dinner some nights. It is only about an hour from Denver.
-
That is a great run down.
I would suggest that you buy an in-expensive one to see if you actually like the TLR camera. I love it, but my wife cannot stand it.
I bought a vintage seagull for about 40 bucks and loved the pictures it took so much that I got a Rollei. The Rollei was nice but limiting so I got a c330.
I now have a c330 and c220 and all of the lenses. They can be had chealy on ebay if you are patient and know what you want.

Dang, you complaining is almost as bad as Robert Byrd

I read your thread, it was stupid. The people moderating here had the power and authority to do as they please. If you don't like it find another place to post. It is that simple. You could start your own web site and post anything you like there. However, you are lazy and won't do that. You would prefer to complain than do anything of substance.

I took a very simular cruise last year and found I got the best results from 2 films. Fuji NPZ for night and evening. The local clutures have lots of bright colors that make great night time photography. Also I got outstanding results form Fuji NPC. The extra contrast that the npc provides is really nice in these situations. Both film are available in 135-36. Happy shooting

Is it true that the 400 BW+ film you buy at walmart 3 rolls for 9 bucks is the same as the Portra BW that I have to pay 8 bucks a roll for at Wolf
-
I hate to disagree with Mr Snotty but the reason I said it was a common problem is because the guy at the counter at Wolf said that they saw about 3-5 of the same problem a week. Maybe in your part of the world that is not a common problem, but for me it is.
-
This is one of those common problems that Canon will not recognize. I ran into it by accident myself. If you wear a hat and the flash tries to pop up and cannot and it does that several times it will fail. The next time it tries the camera gives the battery dead signal. This only occurs in idiot mode. The only work around it to use the camera in another mode and pop up the flash manually. Wolf is currently fixing my camera for me and they are covering it, but I will have to be much more careful in the future.

My T-90 does those things. I would not trade it for anything.

If i had the time, I would take hw 285 out of denver toward fairplay. It runs along the back of the front range and is quite senic this time of year. 285 intersects 50 just west of Salida. I would take 50 west to Montrose. Before you get to Montrose you will get to gunnison and the Black Canyon of Gunnison is certainly a sight to see and photograph. 550 picks up in montrose and take you right into Durango, BTW when you are in Gunnison you are less that 40 minutes from Crested Butte, so it might be worth the stop. I have driven from Denver to Durango going both vis 70 and 285. In my opinion 285 is faster because of traffic Especially right now because 70 is under construction to help prevent sink holes. Enjoy your tip, don't forget to save a few minute to stop in Ouray. It is called the Swiss Alps of the U.S. and for good reason, the Mountains there are very young and are quite unique.

I hate to differ with such learned opinions, but I have 2 seagulls, both of the 40's vintage that work well. I paid under 35 dollars for both and they take excellent pictures. The trick to seagulls is to find older ones. The upside is huge. I have no problems taking a 35 dollar camera to even the most unpredictable places, because if I lose it so what and if need be it is heavey enough to swing at some one. If you can find an old one go for it, you will not be dissapointed. But, you can also listen to the snobs on here that think the only way to take a decent picture is to spend a few thousand dollars.

I use t-max 100 and 400 with t-max developer and decrease the dev time by 15%. I do not presoak

Martin Dies Jr. State Park, of the swamps in that area those are the most accessible. You might consider renting a canoe.

It differs, but my 80mm and 135mm takes 46 while my 55mm takes 49
