<p>I know its too late in the response and I was in the same boat looking for the same answer. With this particular camera C33 its is wind on clock wise and win on anti clock wise to get the shutter ready for the frame. Does this makes sense? If you only wind on forward, clock wise, shutter will not press. You have to wind back on the lever anti clockwise to get it ready. You live and learn.. nearly threw mine out of the window! :))</p>

My canon 400D started displaying "no cf card sign" when I turn it on and take photos.. It sometimes save the photos just like it should but most of the time I get this sign. I checked the pins and they are ok.. I bought a new card and its the same.. I wonder if anyone had the same problem and resolved it? My canon repair centre is far from me and they charge arm and leg. I wonder if there is a easier solution to this? Someone suggested firmware update? Not sure what this means and no idea how to doit..<br>

Any help would be much appriciated.</p>

I know he uses film and combination of exposure and printing he achvies this

style. I will be scanning my images and try to achive this in Photoshop. But I

wanna get the exposure right first. I normally use handheld meter and always

use whatever the meter says. I suppose he does something different here.

any help would be appriciated.

it is absolutely abysmall.. a simple question leads to all this endless pages of words that goes through my head. I have converted polaroid 110a into a 5x4. no viewfinder, no rangefinder but very small 5x4 camera. it works so well I photograph film stars with this camera!! Does that mean I should patent this and stop people making these cameras?? no... hell no.. I enjoy making cameras .. it is my hobby. and there is no way in hell anyone is going to stop me. There is a new group as Dean mentioned on ebay called 'CAMERA MAKING & CONVERTING' .. if anyone wants to know how to make various cameras and conversions.. pls join..

hi all

i have a old kodak 3a and 1a panoramic cameras that uses 122 and 166

film.

i want to change the lenses on these cameras to better lenses, maybe

something like 90 mm angulon. does anyone have any suggestions, which

lenses and how to do it??

also i need a some sort of adapter to fit 120 film on these cameras

too.

ASY WAY OF DOING THIS IS; HIGHY QUALITY COLOR PHOTOCOPIES, AS LARGE AS YOU LIKE. MAKE SURE TO REVERSE THE IMAGE. THERE IS SOMETHING CALLED PHOTOMAGIC. IT CIMES IN A TUBE , BIT LIKE A GLUE, WHERE YOU APPLY IT TO YOUR PHOTOCOPIED IMAGE, EVENLY. THAN LAY YOUR IMAGE ONTO THE CANVAS(IRONED AS MUCH AS YOU CAN) AND EVEN IT OUT WITH YOUR AHNDS. LAY HEAVY BOOKS ON THEM AND LEAVE IT FOR 24 HOURS. THAN YOU HAVE TO WET THE WHOLE THING AND RUB IT WITH YOUR FINGERS GENTLY TO GET THE PAPER OFF TO CANVAS YOU HAVE TO REPEAT THE PROCESS TILL YOU SEE THE IMAGE CLEARLY. ONCE DONE APPLY THIN COAT OF THE SAME STUFF AND LEAVE TO DRY. THERE YOU GO. YOU CAN GET THIS STUFF FROM MOST TEXTILE SHOPS. IT IS LATE AND I AM NOT SURE IF I EXPLAINED ENOUGH BUT GET BACK TO ME IF YOU NEED MORE INFO.

here is some answers about the horseman convertible. all it is is a 6x7 horseman roll film back and about an 1 inch metal body with a lens on it. it looks like a roll film holder with a lens. great bulky looking construction.looks like a massive slr. just bought it for mere £350 from germany. I am a camera mad and i collect large format and medium format cameras, such as wide cameras wiht no beloows, sinar handy, linhof thecna, cambo wide, horseman convertible, hasselblad sw etc.

hi all, i am trying to convert cambo passport camera into cambo wide camera. the mold is the same. but i am failing to see where the screws are to take the lens housing off? does anyone know? do you have any photos? also trying to find 4x5 non rotating back for it too.

dera dean, maybe you might know. i am trying to convert cambo passport camera into 4x5 wide camera. apparently when the lens housing is unscrewed the mold of the camera is identical to cambo wide and 65mm sa fits perfectly. but i am faling to see where the screws are from the photos i looked. i dont know whether it is easy to get it off or not before i start spending money.do you know anyhting about this, can you help?
