I use Xtol at 1:3 for FP4 rated at 64asa.
-
Remember to get the Leica Bokeh PS plugin. That way you can put the magic back into your image after scanning it with a Nikon scanner.
-
The Rodenstock Gernonar's are very compact lenses. And cheap too.
-
actually it is the SA, f8.
-
I'm not sure what it is, but I use mine on my 4x5 all the time and have not had any problems.
-
I'd eat my shorts if it could be proved that the first shot wasn't heavily PS'd.

Get a Tech IV or V. Just a little bit heavier but the sturdiness and precision is well worth the tradeoff. I had a camera just like yours and got fed up with the whole wooden thing. Nice to look at for sure, but in the end I get sharper pics with the Linhof.
-
i have one PDF'd if you want it. What's your email addy?
-
I use a 65mm lens on my Tek IV with no problems. I also do not use the recessed boards.

I am thinking of buying a Nikkor 24-120 D lens for my N90s. For those
that actually use the lens what are your impressions. I will use if
for general purpose photography.

An old lens from Playboy?? LOL.

If you go to feeBay you can find lots of great color analyzers for around $25. Use there photocells and meters for the described precedure. Beats having to micky mouse something together.

do some research on eBay under sold items.

thanks dude!

I have a bunch of K64 left from the days when I shot stock. This
stuff is probably 15 years out of date. What I want to do is shoot it
as B&W film and soup it in Rodinal. I remember reading somewhere that
K64 was essentially a B&W film with added goodies.
If anyone has tried this please let me know.

I am doing a project that is totally centered around night photography. What interested me in 777 was it's reported long tonal range. What I want to do is compare it to Pyrocat-HD and see which will give me the tonality I want.
The fact that it lasts forever is a nice one too. Although I am still using some Pyrocat-HD solutions A&B that I mixed over a year ago with good results.

Has anyone been using this formula? If so what times and temps are
you using for Delta 100. FP4 too if you have them.
Thanks,
Eric

such talent!

Get an old Rollei and go for it.
-
Rollei's rock! Flame on suckers!! Just kidding, about the flaming part anyway LOL.

What's your point? When he wanted better quality he went with a bigger neg. When you've got more time to do a shot, and it certainly seems he did in this case, why use a snapshot camera?

I'm sure you looked at this page:http://www.thefstop.com/shop/shopcustcontact.asp
It has both an address and fax number. Contact someone in the city they are in and get them to use a reverse directory to get a ligit address (in case the one shown isn't) and also get a phone number for the address shown.
If all else fails dispute the charge and get your money back.

Yes in fact they are made by Camera Bellows. Unfortunately I found them very slow to respond to emails and even to take things seriously once I called them from Canada. I was able to purchase it from KEH at the same price and get it immediately. Something that I needed at the time.
The bellows I think is leather. My only concern about talc is that it will get into my lens when the Tek is closed up and being transported.
What I would rather find is something that will remove the sticky stuff.
-
I bought a replacement bellows from KEH. Evidently these bellows are
made by a company over in England and are OEM replacements.
Very nice bellows, but it is really sticky. Everytime I pull the
bellows out to take a pic (Linhof TekIV) I have to pull apart the pleats.
Any suggestions on how I can get rid of this stickyness without
damaging the bellows?
Thanks,
Eric
Which is better - Sigma or Tokina 17mm AF

Looking at purchasing either a Sigma or Tokina 17mm lens for my N90.
From what I understand the Tokina is built a bit heavier, but what
about the optics?
