Could use some tighter cropping or her holding a larger photo in my opinion...but you're the artist and its your vision. -
I really like the original photo posted. 2nd would be the nearly monochromatic photo, and lastly the original...so in all I would say that your manipulations and your choice in what you would consider your "final" image was great. I don't agree with your removal of the strap from her right shoulder, seems to modify the image a bit too much for my taste, but i'm a purist. I'd love to know how you got from your original image to the one posted. Great work, good cropping choice as well.

This looks great, I think if you reshot it with a more solid background then it wouldn't distract from the figure. Great facial expression. Good shot, if it is digital then just make your background solid, the lines distract.
