i'm not sure that i like the pose the model is in...but the location and lines of the photo are great. i think if the model were sitting perpendicular to the light (on the floor) - with the grain of the wood - it might be an interesting contrast...nice shot either way! -

interesting macro shot...but why on a simple faux wood-grain desk...i think it distracts from the details and textures of the true "subjects" of the photo. also, depth of field maybe a tiny bit too short. cool idea and shot though! -

I would greatly appreciate it if a few individuals could look at my
portfolio and make comments on aspects of my photography that need
work (or that are particularly strong). I'd love to hear what
skills I should continue to develop. Do I need to crop tigher?
Compose differently? Increase Depth of Field? Etc. Specific
examples would be great. Thanks.

I think you should crop above the brown water section...at the rocks that move across the photo...just my opinion though, a very nice time exposure -
interesting shot...looks a bit blurry though...faster shutter speed might have helped but you might have been going for that. -

Not sure what you were going for here...lots of clouds but i'm not seing a particular reason...looks like a storm brewing, but still not sure. -
IR if i'm not mistaken. Nice perspective shot...is there a meaning or particular thought behind the photo?
