I know this sounds lame , but I'm confused at which side to use. One side is beige and one side is white. I am

I have tried numerous searches and everything seems fragmented. I'm really confused at how to do this. I have a

monaco optix that I'll calibrated to gamma 2.2 and 6k. I'm using a LCD screen. The prints come out desaturated

and a bit flatter. The colors are even more off when I use the ilford profile ( printing on Ilford smooth

pearl)What should I do? I'm printing color as well as color. Thx.

try having to print 200 prints......thats why I'm still on this.....seems rediculous to me that this is the way it is.....any other better printers out there?

how can this happen on a 700 dollar printer? What I'm trying to do is extremely simple...it this a problem with all inkjet printers?

I see the layout tab but no "Minimize Margins"

it's not there, this is so frustrating. Every print comes out with a different size border. Is there a superior printing program that can right this?

Thanks for all the respones but I've gone through every dialogue box fomr CS3's page setup to epsons setup , I cannot find a " minimize margin" check box. Where is this located?

I have to print a photo that has an quarter inch border. I make a 8.5x11 image size at 300 DPI in Photoshop cs3.

Pretty standard.then I make a quarter inch white border in another layer. One would assume that now it would just

print perfect 8.5x11 ( I have it all setup in the page setup)with the border. Not only does the printer not do

this, it adds an uneven border(I do understand the border is possibly because I'm not printing border less). No

matter what I do and setting I choose it prints uneven borders. I'm completely at a loss . Can someone suggest a

possible solution as well as what is going on? Maybe a better printing software? What is the best printing

software to use anyways?Thanks all!

My bad, I realize that the canons have manual controls but what I wanted to say was that the ultra compacts did not have manual controls. So far the only ultra copact I know that have manual controls is the leica and panasonic lx2

the canons are really nice and small but unfortunately it has no manual controls....

is the leica the only compact model that has manual controls? So far ti seems that way

Also size is of importance. It has to be able to fit into my wheelchair bag.

I thought the Leica was the same camera as the panasonic just diferent branding?

I'm looking for a point and shoot digital that people have actually used. My

basic criteria is that it have manual controls, 8 mega pixel or above and have

relatively decent noise. The only camera I've found is the Panasonic Lumix

DMC-LX2. I would ove to see what you guys would recommend. Thanks!
