This is a very good image. I sense the woman in the background letting the girl know this is the way of the world while the girl is torn toward love or an idealism. The woman is probably right but my sympathy is with the girl! either way your treatment of this photo really is good because you haved caused us to think. excellent!

I am puzzled by the remarks made about burning in the street lights. I did'nt burn the lights in PS, they were in the negative possibly due to the long expousure time. Cheers Michael -

Atieh This seems to be a wrenching portrait. It seems that some words from you are in order to tell us of this woman's life. I sense some sadness or some loss; as if she has vacated or set some distance from other people. These are strong images and leave me wondering.

Yes there is some sadness - there is no connection betweem the man and the baby but also there is dignity protrayed here which makes me want to eliminate all the objects other than the man sitting quietly in his chair. It also saddens me not to see the old man not making an attempt to commuicate with the child. So you see there is alot going on in this picture and you have captured it very well. -

The white lines (left not painted) are a real distraction in this photo.

I don't like the pole either - its too bad because this picture has other attributes which would make it fine in particular the light and the great moodiness. Michael

This is a very interesting effect of IR. The foreground looks to be an ocean with the stones emerging from the depths and the sky adding needed depth and texture. Your technique has suceeded in adding to this composition.
