Not all M3 will go down to .7. Mine, M3 DS dog ears, adjusted by DAG, will only go
down to .8. Later model ones have a different rangefinder assembly.

Wonderful shot. Good job capturing the expression on the man's face.

Yes, ISO 400.

Anyone know what Arista II should be exposed for if I develop it in Diafine? Can't find this info anywhere.
Thank you very much!

You can use the current elmar-m 2.8 chrome screw in hood on your collapsible, or for the
matter any summicron until the one with the pull-out hood, and you have a very compact
lens. It also does a good job of keeping your fingers of the glass.

Great shots here. Fun to look at!

Someone asked if I had more, and I do, because I shot 1-2 rolls per day, and my wife and I were in Italy three weeks! But, even though it's very difficult to "kill your darlings," I've attempted to limit the number I put up, and I still feel I should focus the album even more. It took time narrowing it down as much as I did, and ultimately I favored snaps where there was an interesting facial expression.
Thank you for looking,

I finally got around to posting some of my Italy photos,
all taken in October/November (Rome, Venice &
Florence). Everything shot with an M3/50mm Summicron
on Ilford XP2. Thank you for looking, and all comments
are welcomed.

Thanks for posting these photos. They were a pleasure to look at. It looks like you traveled
light (equipment), and it paid off big time!

I'm thinking of purchasing a leather skin for my M3. However, I'd like to get
the self-timer removed befor the purchase. I don't use the timer much, and it
kind of gets in the way if you carry the camera for hours at a time, or if it's
very cold outside. How difficult would it be? Is this better left to Sherry
Krauter?
Thanks,
G Medina

Yes you could, but it in the long run, it might be easier to just use a simple hand held meter like the gossen digisix. That way you can shoot & travel light.

Just looked at my negatives processed by 1hr Costco, and they look almost very clean and purple.
-
Took a few out. I think it does make the presentation a bit more focused.

Thanks for placing the correct link up. I think it might be a good idea to trim down the presentation. Thanks for your comments!

How much should a brand new M6 TTL (.85) from authorized USA dealer cost? This would include the 3-
year warranty.
Thanks,

Thanks, but it's the wife's feet, and it's a 50 Cron focused at .8 meters I believe.

Snaps of London in Black & White
in Leica and Rangefinders
Posted
Thanks everyone for your replies. I don't remember the weather being an issue when I shot in London. I find it easier to
street shoot in grey days, because metering is simplified and you can focus on the composition. I agree that from a
commercial standpoint, these shots might not pop. I try not too do much tweaking in photoshop, since I want the image too
stand on its own as I saw it. Again, thank you for your comments and will take into consideration turning up the contrast in
photoshop.
