I like the perspective you took, getting down on your dog's level and viewing the world through his/her eyes. The shallow depth of field is also pleasing, as is the contrast between the warmer tones of the window and the darker, cooler tones of the dog. The only thing that doesn't work for me is the frame. It's a distraction. I think a cleaner black frame would be more effective and keep the eye focused on the wonderful, pensive photo you've created.

Nicely composed. I like how the fence creates the two diagonal portions of a triangle, leading the eye through the frame. The warmer tones of the fence are also a nice contrast with the cooler sand.

A nice composition, but I think it would benefit from cropping the sky above the highest clouds, and lighting your model a bit more so she stands out against the background.

A powerful image. There are so many elements that work well together. The warmth of her skin against the cool grey of the mesh; the focused light, with vignetting as the edges; the diagonal lines formed by the layers of fabric, complimented by the diagonal direction of her gaze. Very well done.

Magical light.

I'm going to echo what the others have already said. A nice sharp portrait with great color and light. Cropping the top third would make it a better photo.

A beautiful portrait, with lovely black and white tones. I love the texture and detail you've captured in her hair, and her expression is wonderfully thoughtful.
I agree that the light on the right side of her face is very harsh...maybe try a bit of burning/recovery (in LR) to lessen the intensity.

My aim was to capture the sheer joy he was having while taking a bath.
Feedback welcome.

I liked how the toys had distributed themselves in the tub, so I had to take a
picture. Feedback welcome.

I agree that the composition isn't the most dynamic or interesting, but I do like how the strong diagonal leads the eye up the hill to the house, and is complemented by the softer diagonals in the grass. The shadow play is also very pleasing. The noise in the sky is a bit distracting, but that is easily corrected in post. I think a little extra sharpness/clarity on the house would help, along with some selective dodging/burning to make the house pop a bit more while keeping the blown-out wall in check. I also think that the white fence/house on the far right-hand side of the frame competes with the main house and should be cropped or cloned.

Lovely, rich colors. And I like the dynamism introduced by the diagonal orientation. Might have been nice to have the diagonal hit the upper right corner, vs. just slightly miss it, but this is a small detail.

I often wonder what the little guy is thinking. I'll never know, but I can at
least photograph the moments. :-) Feedback welcome.

We took my 15-month old son to the petting zoo at the pumpkin patch
last weekend...it was his first time at either. He was overjoyed. I
took a number of photos of him, but this is one of my favorites.
Feedback welcome.

Composition and color are excellent. I, too, agree that the motion of the foreground branches is unfortunate, as it disturbs the otherwise peaceful mood of the scene. Not an easy thing to correct, though. Had you moved to the right more, to avoid having the branch in view, the overall composition would have suffered. Maybe next time you would need to bend the branch to the side. :-)

Fantastic portrait! The colors are rich and the texture on the man's face tells a lifetime of stories. Very well done.

A compelling composition. Perhaps a little fill light on the man might have made this photo better.

My son loves his blocks and I was looking for a way to capture his
fascination with them. As he began to place them on our coffee table,
I thought a low vantage point behind them could be interesting, in
that it would allow me to suggest a seemingly endless assortment of
these colorful toys, as well as only capture his eyes as he carefully
assembled them. Feedback is welcome.

A magical photo. The light off the water and foliage is superb. I like the fact that the water seems to go on forever, both at the top and the bottom of the frame. It adds to the wonder of the image.

Sometimes the little guys stumble into an interaction that belies their years,
and then a second or two later they're off crawling/toddling in different
directions. I cropped and processed this photo to accentuate their
interaction and gestures. Feedback welcome.
